Healthcare Reform; Obama Lied…America Died

What makes it difficult to move the healthcare dialogue in any direction is the intense emotional attachment most attention paying Americans hold. And…”as usual in heated debates” the first casualty is the facts. Then again; democrats never let the facts get in the way of a well timed crisis. A crisis by the way, that…as usual, democrats created and then act as innocent bystanding gawkers to the wreck they were in charge of. If you think about it you might see an analogy with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
President Bamster has often argued that health insurance companies need more competition, and he's proposed a public option for health insurance to provide it.
"There have been reports just over the last couple of days of insurance companies making record profits, right now," Obama said during a prime-time news conference. "At a time when everybody's getting hammered, they're making record profits, and premiums are going up. What's the constraint on that? ... Well, part of the way is to make sure that there's some competition out there."
Usually, I take for granted that when the liar in chief is moving his lips, America is getting a dump truck full of bovine excrement but; lending to the import of this legislation on the future of our country I took the time for due diligence and gum-shoed the hell out of this subject. Here are the facts.

1.Insurance company profits. "For every premium dollar that they take in, about 83 cents goes out in medical costs -- doctors, hospitals, and drugs," says Carl McDonald, health insurance analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. The rest is spent on overhead. Net income comes to just a few cents per dollar of premiums. Consider WellPoint, the biggest private health insurer on Wall Street, which has about 35 million customers nationwide. Last year, it paid out 83.6% of revenues in expenses. Net, after-tax income as a percentage of total revenue came to a princely 4.1%. Returns on assets, a key measure of profitability, are typically pretty modest too. According to analysis by Fact Set, WellPoint's ROA has averaged 5.8% over the past five years, Aetna's, 4.2%. Those were, remember, supposedly boom years. UnitedHealth was higher, at 9.6%, but fell to 6.4% in 2008. These are reasonable, but hardly spectacular, results. By comparison, Wal-Mart averaged a 9.2% return on its assets and Dell, Inc. 12.4%.

2.Obama claims that a government-run, “public option” would increase competition and lower insurance premiums. In baseball parlance this is a lobbed pitch, right over the plate and I’ve got a bat the size of a giant redwood. Contrary to public perception there are not a handful of evil, monolithic insurance providers gleefully denying coverage to all but Olympic sprinters and millionaires. At last count there were over 1300 health insurance providers. The fly in the ointment, the monkey in the wrench is that the states allow very little competition.
3.Healthcare is a right. Oh really…? The best of my recollection as to the bill of rights excludes any mention of healthcare. If we were to include healthcare as a right where then do we draw the line? Food, shelter, transportation? We are endowed by our creator with rights. Yet, rights exist not in a vacuum. My right to speak doesn’t require you to listen. My right to keep arms doesn’t require you to subsidize that right by purchasing a firearm for me. Our freedom of the press doesn’t allow for taxpayers to finance the fourth article of government. My point is this, rights are not reciprocal. Your rights end when they burden me. Extrapolated; government healthcare cannot be a right as it won’t exist without impinging on my rights via a subsidizing taxation to bestow upon you a right that is not one.

4.The real costs of healthcare are insurance. No so Skippy. Consider this scenario. I own a construction company with one hundred big, burley, belching, and ass scratching men. And…because deep down I am a benevolent employer, all around good guy and soft hearted. So…I offer to my men comprehensive health insurance. Enter the state. I cannot buy a group policy for my burley worker that does not include free, annual breast exams, screening for breast cancer. It’s the law and more often than not referred to as a mandate. States often require insurers to insure there workers for smoking cessation programs, mental health, drug and alcohol rehab, sexual orientation counseling, In-Vitro Fertilization, Morbid Obesity Treatment, Hair Prosthesis, Viagra, Penis pumps, Athletic trainer, Circumcision, Hair prosthesis, Midwife, Naturopath, Oriental medicine, Pastoral counseling,
Port wine stain elimination (birthmark removal)
Residential crisis service
Source: Council for Affordable Health Insurance etc., etc. I also learned that there are nearly 2,133 mandates like these, “spread throughout the states” which are responsible for group health insurance premium increases of 20 to 50 percent.
5. Insurance companies routinely refuse per-existing conditions leaving the most infirm SOL. This postulation ignores Congressman John Shadeggs state High Risk Pool Finding Extension Act of 2006. President Bush signed into law the State High Risk Pool Finding Extension Act of 2006. This bill authorized grant funding for the establishment and operation of state high-risk insurance pools. Now, 35 states offer such pools that already insure more than 200,000 Americans with another 4 million who are eligible to participate.

Republicans’ work has not stopped there, though. In fact, every current Republican health care proposal addresses the issue. Shadegg’s bill, the Improving Health Care for All Americans Act, H.R. 3218, would expand state high-risk pools so that all 50 states can offer choices for affordable health insurance coverage to those who need it most.

6. Insurance companies can compete with the government. Not bloody likely mate. With the most profitable of the gargantuan, Satin loving insurance companies posting profits of between 2% and 4% percent, “compared to the standard return on investment of the S&P 500 at 11%” consider if you will them having to compete with an entity that need not show a profit, has the ability to print monies and can apply regulations to the insurance companies that their federal competitors need not abide with.

There are inequities in healthcare capitalism; mainly because, in that arena, capitalism has been adulterated. Government is already responsible for 47% of health insurance and it is their heavy handedness most culpable for the rising costs. In Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements providers are normally paid pennies on the dollar. In many cases this accounts for a net loss to the provider necessitating increased charges to those patients not enjoying Uncle Sams’ largess.

Estimates from, “the Council for Healthcare reform” estimates that the cost of government compliance represents 25% of the providers’ costs. The same watchdog group posits that defensive medicine accounts for as much as 35% of the physicians cost. These are widely viewed as unnecessary tests to protect the doctor from legal action. In this vein imagine the financial results of tort reform capping malpractice judgments to compensatory damages only. An honest medical mistake should not be a winning lottery ticket. For those gross instances of a drunk or drugged up surgeon and similar cases, patients should be compensated for their loss and doctors would be accountable under the rules of medical standards and practices as well as criminal laws of negligent conduct and reckless disregard.

Though, constitutionally congress does have a role to play. The failure of states to allow insurance companies to operate across state lines is the quintessential role of the federal government to exercise its constitutional authority without overstepping its role. The Commerce Clause is an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article 1, Section 8, and Clause 3). The clause states that the United States Congress has the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations, among the states, and with the Native American tribes. Courts and commentators have tended to discuss each of these three areas of commerce as a separate power granted to the Congress of the United States. It is common to see the Commerce Clause referred to as "the Foreign Commerce Clause," "the Interstate Commerce Clause," and "the Indian Commerce Clause," each of which refers to a different application of the same single sentence in the Constitution.

It might sound convoluted and complicated but simply stated it is this. The federal government has only the enumerated authority to allow insurance providers to sell their wares across state lines and no other federal authority exists. The, “fixes” to soaring healthcare cots are as simple as they are stark. Less is more; the solutions involve the free market, capitalism and limited government. Government needs to simply get the hell out of the way and let America work; after all, it always has.

Conservative Women Man-UP

Sadly, “for most republicans”, it took two conservative women to kick democrats in the groin while kicking sand in the face of establishment Republican soothsayers.
Sara Palin was first on the scene in the New York 23rd Congressional race, long before the Limbaugh’s and Hannity’s; and …. It’s Michelle Bachmann taking the fight against socialized healthcare to Nancy Pelosi’s front door this Thursday.
Granted, congressional candidate Doug Hoffman failed in his congressional bid, though…in large part because of the, “overly plump” and “overly liberal” Dierdre Scozzafava who, after dropping out of the race endorsed the democrat and whose name appeared on the ballot, “TWICE” garnering five percent of the vote. By sheer happenstance five percent would have secured the win for Hoffman.
While these feisty femme fatale fearlessly fight for the constitution and conservatism in general, they also offer an object lesson to the Gingrichs’ and Steeles’ of the party.

Conservatives are tired of being treated like a baby treats a diaper by the Republican Party. We intend to rebuild the Republican Party; brick by brick if necessary and bring it back to Reagan Conservatism. You tea sipping, limp wristed, big tent moderates, stand in our way at your political peril.
No longer may you count on our support for the sake of party affiliation. After all; conservatives now have real men to get behind… and they are women.
Now…if you have paid even scant attention to the Bamster’s media, “and taken them seriously” you’d have thought that Kenyan born Barack Yo’ Mama actually campaigned against the two Democrat contenders in New Jersey and Virginia. Don’t ya know; that two democrats getting their asses handed to them after Kim Jong Barry whisked into their states and ponied up his star power couldn’t be, “in no way” a reflection of dissatisfaction for the messiah or his agenda. Of course, the state controlled media is playing along.
Yet…much different was the portrayal of the Bush administration in 2001 when Jon Corzine won the governorship of the Soprano state and Virginia went from red to Bolshevik pink . Following is a few select quotes from CNN, MSNBC, Associated Press and the “over the air” media.
1. WASHINGTON - Iraq, Katrina, CIA leak, Harriet Miers. Things couldn’t possibly get any worse for President Bush.
Wait, they just did.
Bush put his wispy political prestige on the line in the Virginia governor’s race and lost Tuesday when the candidate he embraced in a last-minute campaign stop was soundly defeated. While there are many reasons for Jerry Kilgore’s defeat, chief among them his poor campaign, giddy Democrats said the Virginia race as well as a Democratic victory in New Jersey prove that Bush is a political toxin for Republicans.
2. “The arrogance of saying, ‘I’m the Great George Bush. I’m coming to Virginia in the 12th hour and pulling Kilgore’s bacon out of the fire.’ I think he rallied Democrats with that move,” said Steve Jarding, a Democratic political consultant who helped elect Virginia’s current governor, Mark Warner.

3. At least Virginia is a Republican state that Bush won by 9 percentage points a year ago, making it fair barometer of the president’s political decline. New Jersey is solidly Democrat, won by Bush rival John Kerry.
4. Polls had Kilgore tied with Kaine headed into the final day when Bush flew from Panama to Virginia and laid his bets. It was a risky decision, ensuring that the president would be blamed for a Kilgore defeat. White House officials said Bush might as well go because in the current environment he would be blamed anyhow.
They were right.
In closing; we need to look at whom, “on our side” is applying the testicular fortitude to go to war with these socialist slugs and the media they stand behind. Thankfully…hell hath no fury like a conservative woman. I’m just saying…

Monica and Healthcare

Monica and Healthcare

Does anyone really think that Barack, “the Magic negro” gives one whit about their healthcare…really? This, from the ungrateful wretch that questioned his grandmother’s hip replacement surgery at an advanced age; that to this day allows his half brother to live in an 8 by 10 thatched roof, mud hut. Yet, this is the man held up by the left as the paragon of compassion.
I’m not renting it much less buying. So…why is the Bamster willing to sacrifice the Democrat party and give America healthcare that it doesn’t want? Hmmm…? It’s actually not that hard to figure out. All you have to do is think like a socialist weasel.

With government run healthcare Obama gets it all. This is the Democrat wet dream. Yet; when one dares to criticize the Bamster’s healthcare circle jerk he and his staff act like the indignant girl that got felt-up at the prom.

Has anyone ever heard of the United States Supreme Court decision in Oklahoma v. Civil Service Commission?
Synoptically, for brevity, the court found that in all endeavors…involving federal funds, with that comes an inalienable iron grip of the federal bureaucracy in all matters wherein the feds; “in Tony Soprano like fashion”, extort monies from the electorate and distribute it. Those receiving such federal funds are beholden to the strings Washington might apply.
Now comes government-run “and endowed” healthcare.
Since the courts have already allowed that with government largess comes government strings imagine this. Guns are a healthcare danger, “as recently quoted by an Obama Czar” so…the government won’t take your gun; oh no…but…because it is a health danger, and…government funds are involved in your healthcare they can require you to buy insurance for your weapon. Just in case it goes on a killing spree and endangers health. You fatty’s out there, “and you know who you are” suddenly your debit card doesn’t work at McDonalds. And…how about us smokers of fine tobacco? Well boys and girls, friends and neighbors, the addiction we have succumbed to we share with Washington. They are addicted to our cigarette taxes. So, we’ll only have to pay twice as much for half the healthcare as the rest of you.

Government run healthcare gets the governments finger in every pie. Why do you think it was the first thing Billy Bob Huckster Clinton tried? The only difference between then and now is Monica Lewinski.

It’s official; Osama Obama is the Manchurian President

The Bamster’s approach to governance only sanctions supports and corroborates a supposition that we conservatives have wildly held since Obama, “pimp strolled” into the United States Senate and uttered the phrase, “Where’s all the white women?

In addition to B. Hussein’s demonstrable, elitist ego, audacity, bluster, braggadocios and his rambling speeches focusing on I, I, I, Me, Me, Me… “A psychological foible”; He also suffers from a mental defect in that he has grand illusions of himself as the emperor of the world and Mullah to the multitudes.

Obama once told Nevada Senator and “straight jacket eligible” Harry, “the wimp” Reid that he has a gift for great oratory. This from the man that uses a teleprompter when ordering a happy meal and by most accounts in the Presidential bedroom, when engaging in a romantic interlude with his American hating spouse. Its little wonder Michelle Obama seems to always appear unsatisfied…and mad. After all; Obama’s teleprompter has an almost defiant propensity for malfunctioning.

In short work Obamalama-ding-dong has not only insulted one of our staunchest allies, “and the only true Democracy in the Middle-East…Israel; He has sided with the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. The President a, “suspected Muslim” railed against new Israeli construction in the West Bank with either a complete ignorance of the geographic, historical relevance of the disputed territories or, “and more than likely” he has chosen to side with those of his own faith.

History 101; Pencils down…eyes forward. The West Bank before the Arab invasion and the six day war of 1967 belonged to Jordan; never to the Palestinians…NEVER! As a matter of fact the Jordanians hated the Palestinians. Israel captured said land in a defensive war and held it as a spoil of war…a memento if you will. It was then that Jordan expelled all Palestinians as thugs, rabble rousers and turban wearing troglodytes. The Jordanians expelled these terrorists to Israel and Libya. One might observe that before the influx of Palestinians into the country of Libya most international travelers cited Libya as the Monte Carlo of the Middle East. Today it is most aptly described as the butt-plug of the Middle East. Obama’s kindred Palestinians are no better than cockroaches…yet the Bamster puts on Sinatra, chills champagne and bends over for these animals.
One might ask…Why, oh why won’t any Arab or Persian country come to the rescue of these deranged damsels in Burkhas and give them sanctuary or at least a flop at Hijab motel eight. Short answer…They realize them to be fanatical Muslims that often go BOOM!
Yet; B.H.O. has insisted that the west bank be returned to these Palestinians thus giving them the high ground, overlooking Israel. Incidentally the west bank is the Nirvana for a geographic and strategic attack on Israel with the Palestinian Kassam rockets. The azimuth sighting and the geographic range from the West bank would allow these thug animals to be much more accurate in their sighting and target acquisitions thus ensuring Israeli School children be murdered by the bushel. After all, there’s nothing more threatening to the Palestinians than little Debbie with her Benjamin Netanyahu lunch box. Of course, we might overlook their mission statement to kill as many innocent Israelis as possible…gleefully and without remorse.

Then, an “intellectual” need only contemplate “Dumbo ears”, hen pecked executive order to completely abandon Americas long held promise to place defensive missiles in Poland and the Czech Republic to protect Eastern Europe from medium and long range missiles…by the way; it would also give America a practice shot at any ICBM headed for Newark.
The White House spin from useful idiot, “mostly incoherent” Robert, “I like to lie” Gibbs postulates that the Iranian missile program would not have the ability to fire an ICBM with the capacity of reaching the contiguous United States. After all; the arrogant press secretary uttered one of the most ill informed and deception posits ever to come out of the White House since Bubba Clinton got a Lewinski in the oval office and then parsed the word, “that depends what the meaning of is, is.

The fly in this ointment; the monkey in the wrench is as simple as the nose on your face…or the ears on Dumbo, “big ears “the Bamster!
Apparently Bamster INC. has concluded that intercontinental nuclear transport is too complicated for the Persians and we are as safe as a virgin girl surrounded by Catholic priests.

Of course this dynamic, treacherous tangent ignores Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hitting the glowing red button, firing off a two stage solid fuel rocket and deploying their hunk-a-junk space satellite. The Iranian Republic Guard recently fired off a low orbit satellite, technology employed in the pursuit of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. OOPS!

Still; Obama keeps touting his chit-chat with Arab and Persian animals that have sworn an oath to destroy Israel and then America.
And… the Islamic cherry on top of this Sunni-Shia Sundae is POTUS pissant Bam-Bam telling the General that he, “personally picked” to sacrifice American soldiers in Afghanistan and make due with forty thousand too few troops.

Just yesterday eight of those troops gave the last full measure of their devotion to this great country. Meanwhile…Obama gave another speech.

Like Father, Like Son?

Like Father, Like Son?

You know; I like to think my ole man is a pretty smart feller. After all; he did contribute to the DNA that I possess. Though…I have refined and improved on his genetic composition. Think of it this way, Einstein’s pop could barely tie his own shoes and spent his golden years yelling at cats.

My dad chooses to spend his golden years hustling the nursing homes for elderly damsels and “in a Cinderella like analogy” continues to search for that blue-haired babe that left her dentures in the back seat of his Dodge. I’m just saying.

Another thing dad has a propensity to do is to postulate absurd arguments and then search for coherent constructs by which to support nonsense.

To wit; pap recently revered the dialogical discourse deriding the second amendment as most of the American demographic is too dumb to safely caretaker a firearm and propped up this straw-dog by enunciating that oft eluded to Democrat vernacular-ease by way of, “think of the children”…don’t ya know. These are the times when I suspect I was adopted.
Still…I try to remain positive and look upon this beguiling blather as a fast ball across the plate. And; as such view this as an opportunity to hit it out of the park…batter up!

Dad’s argument that guns in the home are unsafe because, “don’t ya know” little Ricky is going to get his hands on it, sooner or later. Well spank my ass and call me Judy.
This half-assed, half-baked, short-bus condescension sends me from zero to pissed off in a nano-second. After all; it’s the same ole tired template. We have to give boys condoms, because…hey, they’re going to have sex anyway…we have to give eleven year old girls birth control pills…because they’re going to have sex anyway. We have to provide on-demand abortion because they’ll have abortions anyway. We might as well legalize illicit drugs and prostitution, because…it’s going to happen anyway.

Well boys and girls, friends and neighbors, murders, rape and anarchy poises an attack on the moral fabric that is this country every damn day. And…since we, “KNOW” it’s going to happen; why not legalize it?

Even overlooking that pesky second amendment those who wring their hands over personal gun possession are out to save a world that doesn’t need saving. Sure; some rubes will inadvertently leave their .44 magnum, loaded and in little Timmy’s crib. And of course…it only stands to reason that Timmy will take out his sister and parents before suckling the barrel himself. Yet; I would postulate my friends that this is exactly how we become a more intelligent people. Dumb people of all ages need be shot in the head. After all; one less idiot is one less welfare hog on the teat of America….Nuff Said!

Turn Out the Lights; the Parties Over!

For an economics wonk, “such as I” observing the market guys, the economy guys and the political spinsters contort the economic health of America into a daily sound bite is like explaining Einstein’s theory of space and time by saying, “fast is slow”.

Practically absent in the economic debate is our blossoming debt and the dire consequences we face as it explodes under the Bamster. Don’t get me wrong; I bitched, moaned and opined when the Bushwhacker upped the federal ante. But, Obama has taken America’s credit card and not left the White House without it.

We have in the best of times, a $14 trillion dollar economy. We have $12 trillion dollars in debt, “mostly to China” and a Federal budget approaching $4 trillion dollars. Each year since 1969, Congress has spent more money than its income. The Treasury Department has to borrow money to meet Congress's appropriations.

We pay interest on that huge debt. And now the Treasury is having trouble finding lenders! Every week at the C.M.E., “Chicago Mercantile Exchange” we have bond auctions. Basically, this is the treasury selling our debt to finance our government largess. Up until a year ago, foreign investors, “China” hedge funds, and bond traders would purchase this debt in the form of long and short term treasury bonds…think I.O.U’s. Yet; those heady days are gone my friends. The world now treats the dollar much as a baby treats a diaper. So…enter the Federal Reserve, also known as Goldman Sachs. By the way; in a completely unrelated story…Lehman Brothers, “now defunct” was the only super bank allowed to fail and, “I’m just saying” just happened to be the only competition for Goldman Sachs, “AKA, the Federal Reserve”. Nothing to see here, keep moving. Where was I?

Oh Yeah, the monetization of our debt. Since the rest of the world is living in economic sanity our Federal Reserve is not only printing our currency, they are also using it to purchase our debt from their evil twin, the Treasury. Think of it this way; you use your credit card to buy that big screen television that you’ve been pining for. Then…you write a bad check to pay your credit card bill.

So…how is the Federal Reserve paying for our debt? Simple, they are printing dollars on every damn thing they can fit into their printing presses. The ensuing inflation that will result from this fiduciary folly will make Germanys Weimar Republic look like Mayberry’s lady druggist raising Aunt Bea’s miracle cure by a dime. Think of it this way; imagine moo juice at $100.00 a gallon and my favorite bourbon costing a Porsche.

Yet; sadly, that isn’t the worst or the signature of this ingenious postulation. Add to our increasing debt of $12 trillion dollars another $65 trillion in unfunded federal liabilities, currently on the books. As even the Bamster himself has said, “this is unsustainable”. Yet he and the Democrat congress keep spending.

Frankly; it is probably too late. Countries traditionally expire large debt with production. Think of the 110% debt to GDP ratio America incurred during WW2. Though; we held the anvil of production. We made things. Today a full 70% of our economy is service oriented. What are we going to do? Loan our shyster trial lawyers to China so that they can sue the hell out of each other? Not bloody likely governor.

Obama had a small window early in his Presidency to signal fiscal fidelity to a world awash in dollars. And…as the Federal Reserve halts Treasury purchases at years end, “as they have promised to do”. We will see the beginning of the end. By the way America; last man standing should turn out the lights…the parties over.

Conservatism

An admonition for those persons or person intent upon reading the ideas and tenets of conservatism I am about to proffer in this soon to be award winning literary composition. I offer a warning in the interest of mental and physical health. Liberals when confronted with the philosophy of conservatism have been known to suffer anxiety, mental confusion, hives, and irritable bowel syndrome and on rare occasions revert to a fetal position, sobbing hysterically while sucking their thumb. Having been forewarned let’s get this party started. Please hang on tight.
A common misconception when labeling conservatives is that we are all racists, sexists, bigoted homophobes. In short we are bible thumping rubes driving pickup trucks with a shotgun rack in the window, along with a rebel flag sitting next to our fourteen year old spouse who also happens to be our cousin. We are illiterate tobacco chewing, Hee Haw watching, toothless, poor white trash. These are but a few of the insulting stereotypes in the vast array of adjectives, used to discredit conservatives. Most are untrue. Well, some are untrue. These assertions are put forth by the left in order to marginalize us as extreme right wing kooks who should not have a forum. The liberal left in this country can ill afford a debate in the arena of ideas with true conservatives. Instead we are labeled as the right wing fringe and until recently have not been seriously included in the national debate. For decades in this country the conservative voice wasn’t just marginalized it was completely ignored. In 1985 that all changed when Rush Limbaugh got hold of a microphone and the national monologue became a dialogue.

Though Limbaugh’s audience share in the beginning was sparse he has turned his, EIB network comprised only of The Rush Limbaugh show into the Top radio show in the country with a dedicated weekly audience of 13.5 million regular listeners and up to 22 million part time listeners. Limbaugh is widely credited with saving talk radio when many experts believed it to be a fading medium. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1993. In 2002, industry publication Talkers Magazine ranked him as the greatest radio talk show host of all time. Liberals have put forth the argument that the vast audiences of The Rush Limbaugh show are mind numbed robots who haven’t the necessary capabilities to analyze current political events or the intellect to think for themselves. This is complete sophistry.

As evidence I provide the following reasonable conclusion based on a Pew Poll recently released. Judged by the respondent answers to three knowledge questions, the most informed audiences belong to the political magazines, Rush Limbaugh's radio show, The O'Reilly Factor, news magazines, and online news sources. Rush Limbaugh isn’t the only star in vast cavalcade of conservatism. One of our best known, most respected in conservative circles and most controversial keeper of the torch, is the brilliant, witty and extremely direct in her prose, Ann Coulter, celebrated author and speaker.

I offer this back round knowledge of our two most prominent conservatives only to present this insight, bonafides, as a walking, talking, gun toting conservative in good standing, able to enunciate a true conservative point of view.
Probably the most recognizable descriptor attached to conservative thought would be anti- abortion. Though apt, it is often misunderstood by those unfortunate souls who happen to be liberal. Conservatives do oppose abortion on moral grounds but we are equally offended by the adulteration of our constitution. To conservatives, the constitution of the United States is sacrosanct. In the case of Roe V. Wade, the United States Supreme court found a general right to privacy in the constitution where one did not exist. The constitution does not explicitly mention any right of privacy. Simplistically the United States Supreme Court did not interpret law but made new law. The making of new law is the explicit domain of an elected congress. Abortion is a social issue and not a legal conundrum. As such it should be the decision of the people through their elected representatives.
What is so frustrating to conservatives is the hijacking of our constitution by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court consists of nine lawyers with all of the foibles and flaws shared as mere humans. They do not reside on Mount Olympus nor do they walk on water, contrary to their personal beliefs, though distasteful to conservatives, legal constitutional abortions could be performed in this country without subjugating the constitution to the Supreme Court. Before the Roe case, abortion was legal in some states and illegal in others. The populace of the state through their representation decided that question after a public debate. Effectively what the Supreme Court did was to end the debate about abortion, or so they thought.
A stark contrast between conservative and liberal thought, can also be found in the arena of just what is the government’s responsibility to its citizenry. Liberals proudly articulate the vast numbers of Americans, “legal and illegal” that their sponsored programs have helped. Conservatives on the other hand measure successful governance by the number of people who no longer need help. Contrary to popular opinion, cold hearted, evil conservatives do believe there is a place for government in helping its electorate yet that help should have defined and measurable goals with the ultimate goal of self sufficiency. Conservatives believe strongly in the traits that make us distinctly American, self reliance and personal responsibility.
As an example of good conservative governance, I cite Bill Clinton’s Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996. Since 1996 welfare rolls have been cut by almost 60%, 1.6 million fewer children live in poverty, and more single mothers are employed than ever. While republicans and conservatives, “not always equivalent” were torturing puppies and robbing from the poor to further endow the rich, Bill Clinton was saving the world and reforming welfare. On the tenth anniversary of the welfare reform act Bill Clinton wrote in the New York Times, “TEN years ago today I signed the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act. By then I had long been committed to welfare reform. As a governor, I oversaw a workfare experiment in Arkansas in 1980 and represented the National Governors Association in working with Congress and the Reagan administration to draft the welfare reform bill enacted in 1988.Yet when I ran for president in 1992, our system still was not working for the taxpayers or for those it was intended to help. In my first State of the Union address, I promised to “end welfare as we know it,” to make welfare a second chance, not a way of life, exactly the change most welfare recipients wanted it to be.” Pause for laughter. “Author inserted”
Welfare reform did work and was applauded by conservatives, after all it was the republican congress that sponsored and passed this bill, three times. President Clinton vetoed the bill twice and only acquiesced as he faced an upcoming election. As reported in Investors Business Daily on 8/23/06. It was a Republican bill passed by a Republican Congress, signed after 30 Republican governors sent Clinton a letter urging him to sign it, saying: "You have consistently said that we must 'end welfare as we know it.' The time is now. This is the bill. The rest is up to you." The welfare reform act is a good example of conservative legislation.

Public education is one of the most argued and divisive subjects on our collective social radar. The debate on this subject always becomes more heated during an election year due to the diverse opinions on both sides of the spectrum. Common ground in theory if not action is that we must have more funding for public education and our public school teachers are pitifully underpaid. Both Republicans and Democrats will recite this mantra on cue as this is what the public has been brainwashed to believe. Conservatives need not engage in this debate because the debate is over. What debate I rhetorically ask. The trifecta is to add class size to the non-debate and look sad.

We constantly hear that in some schools class sizes are as much as twenty five or more students per one teacher, a ratio that critics claim, “liberals or pseudo liberals” causes little Timmy not to read. Japan, Korea and Brazil have average class sizes of fifty students or more and yet these three countries continually mop the floor with us in international scholastics competition.

We are also forced to listen to the constant harping of the underpaid public school teacher. My first question is this, if we paid teachers more would our children graduate school better educated? The national average salary for a public school teacher is $45, 930. (5) When you consider public school teachers get summers off and go home at 3:00 everyday perhaps we should all get a teaching certificate. Before I forget, my Robert Morris College instructors are woefully underpaid and I will testify to that. Surprisingly recent numbers haven’t been released but as of 2003 as a nation we spent an average of $7500 per student enrolled in our public schools. (6) In New York they spend $11,474 per student only to be eclipsed by Washington D. C. (7) I would point out that what our public school system lacks is not funding, but competition. Student test scores and graduation rates have never been correlated to an increase in funding. Most American workers are compensated based on factors such as production, ambition, attitude, performance and results. If we introduce competition into our public schools and our public school teachers, the benefits will be reaped by our children. After all, it is our tax dollars that support theses scholastic endeavors. The governmental bureaucracy attacks the problem of public education with its usual aplomb. Raise taxes and spend more. As conservatives we believe we are overtaxed and under served. Taxes are the lifeblood of government, the crack cocaine to the politico and many of us right wing rubes think it’s time to twelve step our addicted electors.

One of the biggest frauds perpetrated on the public is that the rich don’t pay taxes and the poor get hosed. To the contrary, the poor of this country do not pay taxes and it is the rich taking the hosing. I say this as one of the poor, irony inserted. For one side of the political spectrum to carp about tax cuts for the rich at the expense of the poor is not only sophistry but fraudulent. The latest data from the internal revenue service indicates the top 50% of wage earners pay 96.54% of all federal taxes and unbelievably the top 1% of wage earners pay 34.27% of all federal taxes. (8) For those who matriculated through the public school system these percentages might seem inconsequential, yet when combined with the class warfare arguments promulgated from the left, one can only conclude an attempt at public deception. Liberals argue against tax cuts for the rich and in the same breath whine about job creation. Has anyone ever gotten a job from a poor person? Good government should create an environment that is conducive to business and get out of the way. The extolled myth that the wealthy do not pay taxes needs to finally be scrapped, along with others urban legends, “manmade global warming, evolution, a general right to privacy, dangerous second hand smoke and the innocence of O. J. to name a few.”

Simply put, conservatives believe in lower taxes, smaller government and personal freedoms. With personal freedoms we also expect personal responsibility. We know that our constitution does not have any language that separates church and state. We believe as Ronald Reagan did that government is not the solution to our problems but that big government is the problem. We believe in American exceptionalism and manifest destiny. We hail Ronald Reagan as one of our greatest presidents and ask ourselves what we can do for our country. We believe in God. We believe there is no moral relativism between us and terrorist. We believe that capitalism is simply freedom to engage in commerce. We believe the United States Constitution to be the greatest document ever conceived and consider it sacrosanct. We believe that this country offers more possibilities to it’s citizenry than any other country in the history of time. We believe that any citizen can go as far in this country as their aptitude, ambition and energy will take them. We believe that all men and women are created equal, but not the same. We believe the people should decide issues of social policy and not a judge or judges. We believe in personal property rights. We believe in law and order and demand that those who break our laws pay full price. We believe we have dominion over the earth and a responsibility to it. Conservatives are eternal optimist, because we believe.

Socialized HealthCare

Have We Tried Socialism Before?

Did you know that the first [Plymouth Colony Pilgrim's] Thanksgiving was a celebration of the triumph of private property and individual initiative?
William Bradford was the governor of the original Pilgrim colony, founded at Plymouth in 1621. The colony was first organized on a communal basis, as their financiers required. Land was owned in common. The Pilgrims farmed communally, too, following the "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" precept.
The results were disastrous. Communism didn't work any better 400 years ago than it does today. By 1623, the colony had suffered serious losses. Starvation was imminent.
(1) In his diary, Bradford wrote; “. . . the young men . . . did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children without any recompense. The strong . . . had not more in division . . . than he that was weak and not able to do a quarter the other could; this was thought injustice. The aged and graver men to be ranked and equalized in labors and victuals, clothes, etc . . . thought it some indignity and disrespect unto them. And the men's wives to be commanded to do service for other men, as dressing their meat, washing their clothes, etc., they deemed it a kind of slavery, neither could many husbands well brook it."

Governor Bradford concluded drastic measures were of need. He scrapped the communal system and assigned each family a plot of land for them to farm. All hazards, as well as any reward would be attributed to the landowner. The results were astounding:
(1)Bradford wrote, "This had very good success, for it made all hands very industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been by any means the Governor or any other could use, and saved him a great deal of trouble, and gave far better content. The women now went willingly into the field, and took their little ones with them to set corn, which before would allege weakness and inability, whom to have compelled would have been thought great tyranny and oppression."
In infancy, America experimented with socialism, “or communism lite” and found it lacking. The separatists who founded this country did so with individual freedoms as their cornerstone, “religious and otherwise”. And…capitalism is simply the freedom to engage in commerce.
Socialized healthcare would seem to UN-learn the lessons of Americas first settlers.

Is Healthcare a Right?
Americans have been conditioned to assume, “rights” where “need” resides. Human rights are not reciprocal and do not exist in a vacuum. Whereas we have freedom of speech, yet… no one is required to listen. We enjoy the freedom of religion; yet…churches are not built at the taxpayers’ expense. The freedom to assemble and protest our government is a fundamental right, though; the individual is responsible for carrying their own sign. Our second amendment grants us the right to possess firearms, yet…your neighbor isn’t put upon to contribute to its purchase. Simply; a right comes not at the expense of another’s right. Socialized healthcare would impinge on your neighbors’ right to keep the fruits of their labors and the most basic right of choice as government would assume the role as arbiter in individual medical choice.

How Much Will Free Healthcare cost?

Democrats have spent their summer recess insuring the American electorate that the hoards of illegal aliens would not be covered under the Federal Health Insurance program. The president said:
“This has been an example of just pure misinformation out there. None of the bills that have been voted on in Congress, and none of the proposals coming out of the White House propose giving coverage to illegal immigrants — none of them. That has never been on the table; nobody has discussed it. So everybody who is listening out there, when you start hearing that somehow this is all designed to provide health insurance to illegal immigrants that is simply not true and has never been the case”.(4)

(2) H.R. 3693, a bill introduced by the Democrats has greatly contributed to Medicaid fraud. Before that bill became law, proof of citizenship was required when applying for Medicaid. H.R. 3693 changed that when it was passed in 2007. Now those enrolling in Medicaid are not even required to show identification.
This law virtually ensures that the 12-20 million illegal’s illegally in this country would automatically be enrolled in any institutional public indemnity.
President Obama and his Democrat cohorts have exalted the public option as the center piece of their reform, citing it as a cost saving mechanism. The Congressional budget office refutes these claims and scores the house bill as a net gain in costs of $1.5 trillion dollars. (3)
David Walker, former comptroller General of the United States was appointed by President Clinton. He recently resigned his position so that he could speak frankly to the American people.
In a presentation to the National Press Foundation, January 17, 2008, Mr. Walker brought forth the following facts and projections:
1. From 1966 to 2006, the percentage of federal funds spent on Medicare rose from 1% to 19%. This trend will grow exponentially as millions of “baby boomers” enter the entitlement pool.
2. For the same period, spending for mandated government commitments rose from 26% to 53% of the total budget. The budget is increasingly out of the control of government officials.
3. As of 2007, Medicare is running in arrears. In 2017 Social Security will be in deficit. By the year 2040, Medicare and Social Security alone will be running annual deficits of nearly 900 billion dollars.
4. Medicare spending from now until 2032 will be 235% of economic growth. By 2040, Medicare will be spending about 10% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product annually, and the annual deficits of the United States will total some 20% of the total Gross Domestic Product.
The bottom line is this: mandated fiscal entitlements, projected into the future, are over 52,000 billion dollars. That will equal 90% of all household wealth in the U.S., and will place a burden of over 450 thousand dollars on every household in the land. This is almost ten times the present median household income level.
Mr. Walker concludes that “We face large and growing structural deficits largely due to known demographic trends and rising health care costs.” Further, “GAO’s simulations show that balancing the budget in 2040 could require actions as large as cutting total federal spending by 60 percent, or raising federal taxes to two times today's level.”
To close the revenue gap through growth, the United States economy would need to expand in the double-digit range for the next seventy-five years. During the boom years of the 1990s, the economy grew at an average rate of 3.2%. Walker concludes, succinctly: “we cannot simply grow our way out of this problem.”
Health care entitlements constitute by far the largest single piece of this economic disaster. Those who think that creating thousands of billions of dollars in new government entitlements—in a health care bill that adds tens of millions of Americans to government programs—will do anything except hasten the coming bankruptcy are out of touch with reality.
Mr. Walker has taken his show on the road, in an attempt to educate Americans about the financial disaster they are creating. He was accompanied by both the Brookings Institute on the left, and the Heritage Foundation on the right. He stresses that this coming financial meltdown is known by everyone in Washington--but no one wants to acknowledge it.
The Rasmussen poll shows that almost twice as many Americans think that cutting the deficit, rather than health care reform, should be the president’s top priority. Another poll shows that twice as many people think that the reform legislation will drive up costs than think it will lower costs. Perhaps these Americans grasp Mr. Walker’s point better than their elected representatives do.
A nation that violates the rights of its citizens cannot, in the long run, escape the consequences of its moral failure. When a nation with the unique strength of the United States does so systematically and over decades, the results must necessarily be catastrophic. The dire economic forecast of David Walker illustrates the connection between the moral and the practical. To regain our economic viability we must regain our moral viability. (5)

Is Socialized Healthcare Constitutional?
The tenth amendment to the constitution requires that those powers not specifically granted to the Federal Government are left to the states and the people.
Who were these “enumerators?” Most were citizens of very high standing.
They included, among others: Alexander Hamilton, James Wilson (a convention delegate and chief proponent in Pennsylvania), Edmund Pendleton (chancellor of Virginia and chairman of his state’s ratifying convention), James Iredell (North Carolina judge, pro-Constitution floor leader at his state’s ratifying convention and later U.S. Supreme Court Justice), John Marshall (a ratifier and later U.S. Chief Justice); Maryland Congressman Alexander Contee Hanson, Nathaniel Peaslee Sargeant (a Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court), Alexander White (Virginia lawyer, ratifier, and later U.S. Senator), prominent businessman Tench Coxe, and – of course – James Madison.
Here are some of the powers they solemnly promised would be outside the federal sphere:
• governance of religion
• training the militia and appointing militia officers
• control over local government
• most crimes
• state justice systems
• family affairs
• real property titles and conveyances
• wills and inheritance
• the promotion of useful arts in ways other than granting patents and copyrights
• control of personal property outside of commerce
• governance of the law of torts and contracts, except in suits between citizens of different states
• education
• services for the poor and unfortunate
• licensing of taverns
• roads other than post roads
• ferries and bridges
• Regulation of fisheries, farms, and other business enterprises. (6)
Articles one, two and three of our constitution list the authority granted to the federal bureaucracy. As often as I’ve read the constitution I have never noticed the power to apply a Federal solution to healthcare because the authority does not exist. The Federal government should abide within its enumerated powers…to settle disputes in the arena of interstate commerce, to negotiate international treaties, to provide for a common defense and to conduct a census. Socialized federal healthcare is not only un-workable and too costly, it is also unconstitutional.

Ted Kennedy; a premature compassionate Eulogy

Since, “in polite circles” it is a societal faux pas to speak ill of the dead, I’ll have to hurry this literary smack-down of Teddy Kennedy and if what we are hearing from Kennedy spokespeople is true; I’d better make this jiffy quick.

Sadly; Teddy has lived much longer than those who chose to passenger with him. And; Ted’s imminent demise is already having an effect on the local economy in Massachusetts. Call- girls are filing for un-employment and Scotch distillers are shuttering their businesses. Not to mention that tow-truck drivers are suddenly out of work.
Teddy, “the swimmer” and his incremental movements towards the light, “much too slow” permits us, with fervor, to examine the life and times of this silver spooned spoiled brat who set out to destroy his own country, while drunk.

The latest attack by Ed against sound government is his plea to the state assembly to change the law in re; the appointment of U.S. senators to vacant senate seats. In 2003 uncle Ted petitioned the assembly to change the process by which vacant senate seats were filled. At the time, the law allowed for the sitting governor to appoint a replacement for any senate vacancy at their discretion. A widely held thought then was that Munster look-alike John, “I served in Vietnam” Kerry would trounce sitting president, George Bush. Governor of the bluest of blue states was then republican Mitt Romney. As a blatant jury rigging rouse Kennedy pushed for the law change allowing a five month election run-off for a spanking new senator so that Romney couldn’t appoint a republican to Kerry’s vacant seat after he ascended to 1600 Pennsylvanian Avenue.

The fly in the ointment, the monkey in the wrench was that Kerry couldn’t win a game of horseshoes if he was actually sitting on the horse.

Fast forward to present day; while Ted has given up Scotch for baby food and hookers for long naps in onesies, he still finds a coherent moment to again fiddle in Massachusetts political do-si-do.
Now the moral imperative is to again change the law back to a governor appointee to any vacant senate seat and scrap the five month election of candidates. Keep in mind that upon Ted assuming room temperature the magic senate number of sixty becomes fifty nine and would stay so for five months. The words, “arrogant dying, murdering bastard” come to mind.

Teddy the, “cheater” enrolled in Harvard University in 1950, but was kicked out in 1951 after he was caught paying another student to take a Spanish test for him. Little Ted eventually, “earned” a degree from Harvard and the dean of students, “earned” a summer home in Kennebunkport, kismet.

In 1962 young Teddy was the legacy candidate to the United States senate thanks to his brother vacating it and his father doling out bootleg whiskey money for it.

In 1963, his brother Jack was assassinated in Dallas, Jack was the Kennedy with a semblance of character. {Emphasis semblance}
In 1968, his brother Robert was assassinated in Los Angeles, no character assumed or implied.

Then the whopper, July, 1969, “drunken motorist” Teddy drove his car off a bridge, returning from a local party on Martha's Vineyard. He swam to shore, adjusted his tie, burped twice, went to a local hotel, hobnobbed briefly with the clerk, and tucked in for the night, basking in the safety of his warm bed and clear conscience. In the morning, a fisherman spotted the car and reported it to the police. Inside the car was the body of 28-year-old Mary Jo Kopechne. The coroner determined that she had survived the crash and had remained conscious for several hours in an air pocket in the submerged car before dying. Begging the question; who said chivalry is dead? Eventually, Teddy, “the frogman” suffered the crushing weight of our judiciary, his license to drive was suspended.

Teddy, “the victim” ostensibly, to rid himself of the haunting memories of murdering a young woman, turned to women for comfort and nurturing. When a supermarket tabloid published pictures of a married Kennedy getting "amorous" with a woman on his sailboat, one of his colleagues (Senator Howell Heflin) remarked that it appeared that Kennedy "had done changed his position on offshore drilling." In 1985, he and Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd allegedly made a "waitress sandwich" at a DC restaurant while their dates were in the rest room. Think layers and physics without condiments.

And then there’s this, only because you haven’t heard of it, if you have just play along, it’s fun. At the height of the cold war, Teddy, “the Bolshevik” began an all out effort to work with the Soviet KGB in order to defeat Ronald Reagan. He stole and destroyed classified records from the national archives, leaked top-secret documents to the media, and pursued a plan of capitulation against an enemy we were clearly beating the pants off of daily and twice on Sundays. This from the elder statesman of the Democrat party, again, while drunk.

Time or energy, “mine” would be of waste delving further into this pathetic life, it can be summed up quite efficiently by the following; Quixote Ted has held hostage the vaunted and illustrious senate on many issues but none more than wind turbine energy. He’s just daffy about it and would like nothing better that to plop a windmill in every yard and back alley. Yet, “windy” Ted had long since fought placing those twirling electrical juggernauts five miles off of Martha’s Vineyard, home to the Kennedy compound. That singularly sums up Ted; it’s all about him and always has been. America will little miss this worthless life when he finally passes and, if I’m right, “as I usually am” Ted and Mary Jo will never meet in the afterlife, having been assigned to different regions of eternity. And…I’d don’t wish to sound completely unfeeling as to the loss of this mans life and that effect on his family. So; I’ll just end with this…May you burn in hell you arrogant bastard and good riddance to you.

Healthcare for Dummies

Perhaps it’s time for an adult debate about healthcare reform…and, by “adult” I mean this author, laying to waste any dissent from my brilliance, tact and reason. To wit; game, set and match…articles one and two of the United States Constitution enumerates certain powers to the federal government. The tenth amendment provides that those powers not given to the federal government in the constitution are left to the states and inevitably… the people.
Shows’ over folks…thanks for coming, I’ll be here all week…enjoy the roast beef.

Okay…as purely an intellectual exercise in futility let’s indulge the limp-wristed, bran eating, mocha drinking, Oprah watching, yahoos that think tech music is an art form and that Obama’s birth certificate is anything other than dust etchings in the Kenyan desert.
Now class…we will explore the lefts most promoted, preposterous and downright knee-slapping, giggling postulations…oft posited with a straight face, tweed jacket with leather elbow patches and either a pipe or monocle accoutrements. If it wasn’t for the power these poindexter’s wield, our economy would come to a screeching halt as those of us who actually contribute to the GDP would cease all activity, other than to spend our productive hours pointing, laughing and ridiculing these poor dumb bastards. No matter…far too often checkers sells more than chess.

Healthcare is a right! This pronouncement as an inalienable right makes as much sense as Jimmy Carter winning the Nobel Prize for peace when the Middle East exploded under his watch whilst he wrote mash letters to the Ayatollah. This dog just won’t hunt. First; we are endowed by our creator…meaning our rights come from God, not by any issuing authority or autocracy. Human rights are delineated as having no reciprocal responsibilities from your fellow man. Simply put; the exercising of rights cannot diminish another citizens rights. Your freedom of speech costs your neighbor nothing. The freedom to assemble doesn’t require your neighbor to pay for your transportation to the assembly area. We have the freedom to worship; though…no one is taxed to build our churches. Your rights end when they infringe upon mine. And…extrapolated…your stated right to healthcare impinges on my right; “choice” to not pay for it. Of course, I choose to let your sorry ass pull your own weight, to buck-up buckaroo and accept responsibility for yourself as I do for myself.
Yes; we are a compassionate people and will always pass the hat for those individuals whom are truly helpless and in need. We have always done so. Yet, we do so as a moral choice and should not be compelled to benevolence by Barry the Kenyan Keynesian.
Next up on the lefts top forty is that an overhaul of healthcare is an economic imperative necessary to thwart hyper-health costs, lowering everyone’s contribution. Let’s see…we are going to lower costs by increasing demand? America has a static supply of healthcare professionals. The Bamster proposes to transform demand into a gargantuan, “dynamic” denominator, thus…lowering price.
Economics 101, increasing demand to a static supply raises costs.
Lacking in Obama’s healthcare algorithms are any substantive reforms, “even though” see paragraph one defining federal powers.
Tort reform redefining malpractice remuneration to, “compensatory damages only” would be a good start. Roving wolf packs of trial lawyers see doctors as a Las Vegas piñata and they all get in line to take a whack. The, “too often frivolous” lawsuits are proportionally insignificant yet; the defensive practice of medicine adds as much as 15% to the costs of healthcare.

Still; the most definitive of culprits is the misrepresentation of costs to consumer. Healthcare recipients aren’t involved in pricing the exchange of goods and services. How can a hospital charge $2000.00 dollars a night for a bed when the Ramada Inn cannot? It’s simple; the costs of healthcare are not represented to the demand for it.
Health savings accounts would solve this problem. Put the consumer in charge of planning, managing and their demand for this supply. Let them be the arbiters’ of their expenditures and reap the rewards of financial prudence.
Leaving aside the democrat proposals would enact separate, “cash for clunkers” for seniors making it cash for geezers; deciding coverage after cutting seniors in half and counting their rings… so much for the compassion extolled by your new democrat party.

A major factor in the cost of healthcare is the government. If I own a construction company; employing 200 burly construction workers, and…my business model provides health insurance to my employees… I must buy policies which include annual breast examinations to screen for breast cancer. This is but one of the myriad of mandates required by state and federal chimpanzees posing as public servants. This is the dirty little secret; government is the 800lb. gorilla. They are the largest contributor to the cost of healthcare. Healthcare is 17% of our GDP and the government runs 47% of it through Medicare, Medicaid and medicate. They intend to remove profit from healthcare when profit, “as a motive” is proven to be the best incentive for production, competition, service and quality.

Though…these, “now published” postulations only respond to the straw-man arguments from the dead-heads in Washington and their lap dogs across the fruited plain. In responding one might accept, that I accept their premises. I do not and only reciprocate a response to these buffoons because it’s just so damn much fun. Highlighting the idiocy of idiots ought to be an Olympic event including a studio laugh track every time one of these zombied Obamalites proposes to tell us they care.

None of this disabuses my opening salvo. Our constitution gives not congressional authority for Obamacare. The power for national healthcare is not enumerated in the constitution and our tenth amendment is as follows; “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”. Nuff Said…

Premier Barry

Premier Barry
Those of us with knowledge of the historical underpinnings and basic tenets fought for in the struggle for independence from King George, long ago, came to the aggregate conclusion that a new struggle for separation from an out of control, autocratic oligarchy, hell bent on transforming a representative republic into a central planning politburo.

The American experiment began when fifty-six patriots, “from diverse backgrounds” affixed their John Hancock’s to a de facto pink-slip edifying the king that royalty need not apply. Those founders held strong inclinations and fidelity to such novel ideas as freedom, self governance, liberty, religious expression, personal determination and public elections of representatives instead of a strict adherence of the biological lottery of Deoxyribonucleic acid. {DNA} They apperceived this concept so resolutely and indomitably that they pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor in this endeavor.

Perhaps the best apperceive, “or evidence” of their resolute intent was the 25,000 stalwart souls who sacrificed the essence of life so that birth might be given to a nation. Those men along with their peers were responsible for authoring a constitution that we conservatives not only consider sacrosanct but divinely inspired were the earners of the bequeathing to we , the people of a nation upon which God shed his grace. With that inheritance obliged the recipients to covet those ideals and aspirations whose recompense was blood and personal sacrifice by the patriarchs of this nation.

Yet; we inherited more than an obligatory reverence to those founders. For; with that endowment, that blessing of being given the keys to the greatest nation on this planet also imbued a great responsibility.

This encumbrance I fear has been has been largely ignored and averted. The American demographic seemingly invests more time and energy into deciding who will be the next American idol than in accepting the responsibilities that conjoin with the rights we enjoy. Even though; the lack of due diligence by the electorate charged with protecting those God given rights has, “for the most part” abrogated their, “watchdog” moiety apportionment for a ringside seat as a spectator.

To wit; we gather every two to four years to consummate an election wherein those candidates who seemingly represent our ideals, views and core values would ascend to power; a power constitutionally given by the consent of the governed.

Though; nano-seconds after these orators of slight of hand swear an oath to protect and defend the constitution of these United States they most often fall prey to the bureaucracy they railed against when seeking our votes. They become enamored with the private jets, the P.A.C. money that is the life blood of Washington. They decorate their offices with ornate bobbles they see as eclectic and becoming of their status. They hire their staff using the formula of either the widest bathroom stance or that virginal smile which belies a willingness to meet any deadline or position.

They assume the character of self importance. They become full of themselves. They plan their day around camera face time on any network that might spell their name correctly and exalt any opinion they might proffer.

Most importantly; from the day they are sworn in; they are running for re-election. Humorously; to us commoners’, every time a congressman of any stripe peers into a mirror…he sees a president.

Though; enough of semantics…what we now abide isn’t much less than the dilemma pondered by our founders in assessing the dynamics of King George’s rule. Our politicians are above the law and beyond reproach. They consider themselves royalty, the chosen ones. For instance; were law and order the fare of the day, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel…ET. Al… would be making little ones out of big ones while wearing striped shirts and repeating the phrase, “I got my mind right”.

And…for you lunatic leftists; I would postulate this…all of the political class has adulterated their responsibilities. They work for us! Yet; attempt to contact them with a differing point of view than theirs and you’ll talk to a Tony Soprano type that will make you an offer that you can’t refuse.

Maybe it’s just me but lifetime politicians, with their own private jets, staffs that measure into the hundreds, lobbyists paying for extravagant vacations, millions of dollars in campaign contributions from the very entities they regulate, salaries and health benefits that are genuinely gold plated, paid for by we the people, a lifetime retirement package after only one term of service, a continual passing of legislation that they are exempt from., Elliot Spitzer girls paid for by, “we, the taxpayer” unless you are Barney Frank, legislation that punishes success, mortgaging our children’s future by either printing money or borrowing it from China, Failing to balance a budget while creating laws that would imprison us for the same behavior. And…for generally exhibiting the political behavior that would cause Thomas Jefferson to demand satisfaction at the point of a gun for these two faced, spineless jackals’ who claim to work in the public interest. I put forth this; let’s hang em’ all. And…if we don’t, we then will receive what we deserve and will sully the inheritance left to us by men of more character than we have abiding within us in the collective. .

News From the WhiteHouse

Today the Whitehouse announced that, “Bamster Motors” formerly, know as General Motors “General Motors” renamed the company, “Government motors” and will release the, “Barrry-car” early in 2010. This first signature car of the Obama administration will reportedly employ the green technology candidate Obama promised to the American people as he crisscrossed the country in pursuit of buying votes for the presidency.

Early information is that A.C.O.R.N. and the “service workers international” drove busses to homeless shelters and loaded up the dregs, winos and mental deficient’s…bribed them with bologna sandwiches’, Boone’s Farm and Newport cigarettes to cast their votes for the Messiah. Reportedly’ the most difficult aspect of this elector hoodwinking was finding the correct bridge and gutter to drop off the homeless after their ballot casting. In many cases the overstuffed vans transporting the homeless simply slowed down at the nearest underpass and lobbed them out at 35 MPH. Obama called this act tough-love and his effort to reduce carbon emissions by not coming to a complete stop. There was also an ancillary wager between top staffer on just how many times the homeless would bounce. Rahm Emmanuel won the pool when a bum he launched from the moving van bounced a full seven times, braking his collar bone and suffering a severe head injury.

Reportedly, the “Barrry-car” has a drive train fueled by three 2000 lb. nickel cadmium batteries capable of propelling the 10,000 lb. vehicle four city blocks without a recharge or one downhill trip to the Strip Club; Most innovative is the pop-up solar shield upon battery exhaustion adding another 25 feet to the total distance traveled.

“B-car” dealers across the country are already touting the luxurious amenities such as the dual cup holders, rear window, four tires, ashtray and Obama bumper-sticker, said bumper sticker incapable of bring removed from said car due to a top secret polymer guaranteed for the life of your car.

In other White House news; Obama has latched on to a controversial stimulus package directed exclusively at the working poor. In his years as a community agitator he became acutely aware of the plight of working girls on the streets of Chicago. With the Obama recession a Presidential panel, “after an in depth study concluded that prostitutes” revenue is down 49% and “places upon them a severe hardship”. After all; the administration has offered that stimulus recovery in the porn industry is a moral imperative and has vowed to not let these scantily clad hard working American girls whom the President has, concluded that the porn industry is simply to big to fail.
Hence; The Obama, “Porn industry recover act” is set to be implemented by bypassing all debate and pouring $billings of American taxpayers $dollars into pornography billboards, Public service announcements and most importantly financing for the oft maligned, “Johns” or customers if you will.
Obama’s plan is to tax the oldest profession and blackmail the Johns. The Presidential office of management estimates that possible revenues to the federal coffers could increase by as much as $300 Billion dollars. Minus the cost of Federal outlay of condoms, birth control pills amid the tried and true method of the prostitute jumping up and down after intercourse. Oh…and if all else faiths there will be the abortion option for irresponsible women, who personally rack up abortions just for the convenience of the living.
Not to mention, Since the Bamster has been sworn in we have lost millions of jobs, wages are falling, the remunerations to the treasury are now down 22%

Obama has added $1Triion dollars to the national debt in just six-Months. At this rate our deficit will top $4 $trillion dollars and he’s just getting warmed up.
If he is able through reconciliation, “ a parliamentary procedure never used” less budget battles; he can jam down cap-and-trade down our throats, along with Healthcare and card check. He will then set his sights on Talk-radio”. His biggest detractors and the only personality are opposing him.
This is a fight for the economic and social fabric that is America.
So get up off your ass. Join the 9-12 project, band with conservatives and show up at these town meetings and be head. It’ all up to us to get involved…After all; it is our country; let’s take it back!!!!

Dentures for Dogs

This health care debate makes about as much sense as O.J. Simpson selling cutlery or Jessica Simpson touting the virtues of marriage before sex. Meanwhile, the Bamster is fretting over the health insurance of people he’s never met; much less gives a damn about while bad mouthing hard working cops and texting gang signs to his Harvard professor.

Look; this isn’t advanced calculus or even ought and ought is ought in Bodine’s math. Kenyan born weasel, “the Bamster” intends to add forty million gypsies, tramps and thieves to the rolls of the fully insured thus taxing an industry already overwhelmed.

Simple economics 101 would tell us that increasing demand for healthcare whilst the supply remains static must starkly increase the costs. There are a finite number of medical professionals, a static number; yet Mohammed Obama intends to assault the profession with dynamic extrapolations.

And…you just know, with the all-caring, compassionate, oafish Democrats the public option for healthcare insurance will provide coverage for everything from condom dispensation, “along with the appropriate color coding” surgical hangnail clipping for homeless winos, bikini waxes, pimple popping, personal self-esteem counseling, gold teeth for gangsters from the hood, Spanish lessons for pre-school tots, neck rubs, back scratches, sponge baths, diaper rash, addadicktomes’, chopadickoffofmes’, to breast augmentation and dentures for dogs.

Never mind that instituting this asinine apothecary behemoth would add $10 trillion dollars to our national debt over the next ten years for a cumulative total of a mere pittance $21 trillion dollars, “over drawn” from countries that actually hate us.

Keeping in mind the indemnity interest on $21 trillion dollars will require every man, woman and child to work ten full time jobs and remunerate 200% of their gross income to uncle Sam-Bamster and quite possibly forced to sell our blood to the Chinese by the tanker full…just to pay the friggin interest!

Just as disturbing as Idi Amin Obama trying to destroy his adopted country with Socialized healthcare is how he has set about doing so and the methods he has employed.

After all; this isn’t simply Chicago politics…Oh no…Obama is Tony Soprano on steroids. First Obama went after the doctors. He threatened the AMA with dwindling reimbursement rates and bought-off the cabal of doctors in the AMA hierarchy that he couldn’t scare. Good thing Treasury Secretary Timmy, “got-rocks” has an extra $700 billion burning a hole in his pocket for just such occasions. By the way; the American Medical Association signed on to Obama’s healthcare reform despite doctors across the fruited plain opposing the Presidents plan 9 to 1.

Though…under the Bamster’s plan, senior citizens would be Soylent Green, for some odd reason the AARP has signed on to OBAMACARE. Pay no attention to the Lamborghinis being ordered by top AARP staffers and the $5 billion dollars they have been promised in stimulus money. Just a coincidence I’m sure. Move along; nothing to see here.

Let’s move on to the mega-insurance companies that have grudgingly bent over and grabbed their ankles for OBAMACARE. One might wonder why medical insurance providers would willingly walk the plank for this Barry-come-lately. Fair question…Obama et al. has promised them a seat at the table… Little do they know they are on the menu.

The Bamster is making everyone involved an offer they can’t refuse…all the while indebting children yet to be born. How’s that hope and change working out for ya so far?

Porky Pig; on a Spit!!!

A few weeks ago I trekked off to Kentucky for my granddaughters’, daughters’ and wife’s birthday. A good time was had by all, yet I left there with an insight; one every American should ponder. Upon arriving, “fairly late Saturday night” I and my son in law had to prepare for the bountiful feast planned for the next evening. So…naturally; my son-in-law Brandon drove the old tractor around to the Hog pen while I readied a slipknot on the end of a long rope. Brandon then boxed in, “Dinner” as I looped the knot over the swine’s back-foot and in road gear, “pork chop” Brandon and I were off to a large tree where a chain hoist had been readied,…various lights, sharp objects and quantities of adult beverages lay at the ready…along with the rifle that would dispatch Porky off to the promised mud-wallow.
Needless to say, “though I will anyway” by mid-afternoon the grill was crackling, the smell of pork was in the air and God smiled on our little party with his great bounty.
We were self-sufficient, self adorned and unselfishly centered. We ate, we drank, we smoked and we laughed. And…not one government entity added an element to our display. We were the rugged individuals born of our forefathers.
Yet…I wondered; how great of the American demographic could abide such a living…or would. Today, we live in a Dr. Phil, Oprah world. A CFL light bulb, no smoking, fat assed, lazy Susan society. In short; we’ve become fat, sassy and nannied to death by our government…for our own good. This lifestyle has become us as a detriment to our heritage, our birthright.
America was founded on rugged individualism, on a can-do, kick-ass, spirit embodied in those men that sacrificed their lives, their fortunes and their scared honor that we might be free in a country, divinely inspired.
Now we can’t get off our wrinkled asses, dust the Cheetos off of our hands and waddle to the magic picture box to change the channel from, “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy” back to Oprah in time to miss the commercial.
We have gotten so damn lazy that we cannot put down the Xbox controller long enough to administer justice to the autocrats that have usurped our constitution and soiled the memory of those that founded this historic country.
I mean dammit; really, even you lackluster liberals cannot be happy with the government we are oppressed by. After a nanosecond in the cesspool that is Washington every damn politician is infected. So…they come to expect the free haircuts, the free shoeshine’s, the expense account, the royal health insurance, the full retirement after only one term, the free trips, the free money, the jets, the free suits, the interns, and so on.
They object to abject public service, though they extol it as virtuous. And…they set to feathering their own nest whilst absconding with the trust of their constituents.
Moreover; they set about constructing laws for our own good. As if they know better.
The lives of Americans no longer embody rugged individualism. That is now prohibited, by OSHA, the EPA or some other such governmental edict. No small loss when you consider the freedoms we have surrendered.
A quick search informed me that my weekend, “hog” butchering violated several state and federal laws and regulations. But then; I don’t abide a government for my protection. After all, the people should never fear their government; the government should fear the people.

The Federal Reserve and Goldman Sachs

To be honest; I had to be dragged, kicking and screaming into this latest postulation. After all, though I have the aptitude to construct any literary composition into unqualified brilliance; an intellectual honesty requires of me passionate fidelity to educated honesty.

To wit; on the back burner of my slothful and mostly incompetent staff, “excluding the hard work and diligence of Travis” has slowly simmered the relationship between the Federal Reserve and Goldman Sachs. Thankfully Glenn Beck and company jogged my memory with a half-hearted attempt at explaining this incestuous cabal and prompted the beating of said staffers into action.

Yet, make no mistake; there belies a panoply of career risks to the author. Because, as everyone knows, we evil conservatives are all protecting of malevolent mega-corporations. And…explaining economics to the 54% of thumb sucking, Oprah watching, wine cooler drinking, quiche baking, sushi eating, and tweed jacket twerps that voted for the Bamster. It’s akin to explaining the shrinkage of space as the speed of light is approached to monkey eating Mubuti pygmies.

Still; I try. Most oft misunderstood is the relationship between Goldman and the Fed. The general thought is that of a symbiotic, incestuous convergence of like minded money grabbers. Not so Skippy; Goldman Sachs is the Federal Reserve…and visa versa.

Let us begin at the most recent history. On September 15th 2008, in the span of three hours, someone(s) or some financial enmity entity began, “cashing out” $billions of dollars in the equity markets. {The market in which shares are issued and traded, either through exchanges or over-the-counter markets. Also known as the stock market, it is one of the most vital areas of a market economy because it gives companies access to capital and investors a slice of ownership in a company with the potential to realize gains based on its future performance} In just over three hours over $500 billion dollars was removed from the markets causing gentle Ben Bernake, “former Goldman executive” and chairman of the Federal Reserve along with the treasury secretary Hank Paulson, “former Goldman Sachs CEO” to rush into President Bush’s office, flushed and panting, hair on fire, well…scalp on fire and frantically inform the President that the American way of life would end by the close of that days business unless these two hair club for men rejects could infuse the capital markets with $trillions of dollars, jiffy quick. In an unrelated story; the presidential campaign, on that day, for some odd reason, changed. The most pressing of issues had been the war in Iraq…yet; now the economy and its certain demise became most topical and pressing. Advantage Democrat and one Kenya native…you guessed it, Barry the Bolshevik.

Most prevalent in the fiduciary school of thought is that a scheme this enormous had to have been orchestrated by a government. Most postulated was a Saudi cabal or a Russian conspiracy. Yet…overlooked was the influence of Goldman and its infinite access to capital via the Feds discount window. The simplest evidence is that most often overlooked. On that day, “September 15th, 2008” Goldman executed just over 46,000,000 trades. In a completely unrelated story a former Goldman Sachs employee was recently released on bond for stealing computer code that allowed for such massive trading. Bloomberg news reported that the prosecutor alleged that were this code to be used by any corporate interest, “other than Goldman” it could wreak havoc on the markets and open the possibility of mischief in the markets. Bloomberg reports, “The bank has raised the possibility that there is a danger that somebody who knew how to use this program could use it to manipulate markets in unfair ways,” Facciponti said, “according to a recording of the hearing made public yesterday”. “The copy in Germany is still out there, and we at this time do not know who else has access to it.” Yet, though others, using this software could manipulate the markets…nah, Goldman wouldn’t think of such malevolence. Still, they did just post $3billion dollars in profit during the largest downturn in the American economy since the great depression… Just a coincidence, to be sure.

The Flushing of our Economy

Never mind that the pin-prick in the housing bubble came from Goldman, and the free money policies of the Fed exacerbated an oligarchy committed to, “moving on up” the Jefferson’s into homes they could never afford. The gist of the pseudo-governmental groin kick to Wall Street was the hands-off, no nonsense approach to capitalism that allowed Lehman Bros. to fail, Bear Stearns to go belly up and left AIG in the lurch. In an unrelated story, Lehman and Bear Stearns were the only competitors of Goldman Sachs and AIG was indebted to Goldman to the tune of $13 Billion dollars. So…naturally, Lehman and Bear were allowed to fail; AIG was secretly bailed out with the proviso that Goldman was to be paid their $13 billion before the ink was dry from the treasury debit card transaction, via the Fed.

Strange Bedfellows

Never mind that the new, “must have, right now” treasury secretary, little Timmy Geithner, former New York Federal Reserve chief and former Goldman Sachs executive jumped on the nearest soapbox in a declarative statement opined that AIG represented a systemic risk, and must be saved. He then proceeded to tank AIG as insolvent and pursued the paying of debtors, first and foremost, Goldman Sachs.

AIG, “American International Group” mostly an insurer of state risks, credit defaults and chicken thieves was extended $ 113 billion dollars to basically do what the treasury and the Federal Reserve could not. That is, infuse their holders of debt with genuine greenbacks. AIG was never too big to fail; it simply owed money to those who would make you an offer that you could never refuse.

The Metamorphosis

Goldman Sachs, as a company, a corporation; since its inception from a Jewish-German immigrant founder has been an investment bank… or more simply put; a speculator of equity markets… has come a long way. They have entwined themselves so indecently with the Fed as to question where one ends and the other begins. They have access to economic data, “via the fed” that allows them to trade in milliseconds and leave perplexed the Wall Street laggards that exalt them as the second coming.

In the United States House of Representatives over 200 elected leeches have signed on to a bill that would require the Federal Reserve to open their books and be the transparent governmental sponsored entity that B. Hussein Bamster’s teleprompter promised we would have. Yet; the Democrat leadership will not allow a floor vote. Democrats and Republicans a like have demanded that little Timmy Geithner account for $Two Trillion dollars that have yet been spent, but unaccounted for.

This is a scam; Goldman has taken over the Fed with the acquiescence’s of the Fed, as they feed at the feet of Goldman Sachs. Not to mention that all of the players, minus ex-CEO of Goldman Hank Paulson, are former or current Goldman Sachs employees, of course none of this is related; only a coincidence.

Liberalism Cannot Be Defended; I Dare You to Try !!!

Just recently, on this forum, two questions were posited for answer and perusal of those participants whose chose to participate. They were prescient questions deserving of an intelligent, thoughtful response. The two questions in question were these; what is a liberal and what is a conservative? The poster asked for well thought out, specific descriptions of the opposite ends of the political spectrum. As expected, as usual, I not only stepped up to the plate, I knocked it out of the park. I put on a blinding brilliance of literary composition rarely seen in human endeavor. {See my response below}
However, not one little, Lilliputian, liberal lackey bucked up, took the stage and dared to proffer a positive portrayal of the affliction that is modern liberalism. And, I think I know why. It would be much akin to pointing out the benefits of cancer.
Liberalism has no basis in fact, reason or sanity. It is unrealistic, antithetic to the principals and values this country was founded upon and requires the willing suspension of disbelief, “sound familiar?”
Liberals claim to believe in our constitution and derided George W. Bush for violating it by, “torturing” detainees currently living the good life at the renowned vacation retreat in the tropical paradise lovingly referred to as Club Gitmo.
Yet liberals are nuanced in their devotion to the constitution that we conservatives consider sacrosanct. They ignore section two and enumerated powers; they are blind to the tenth amendment limiting federal authority to only those enumerated powers.
If they were honest with themselves, “not bloody likely” they would admit this one truism that is the wooden stake in the heart of Looney liberalism, it is the silver bullet, the Ark of the Covenant. Our founders were conservative. This is inarguable and unassailable. This country was founded on the principals of conservatism and our founding documents reflect that; without doubt. It’s all there, in the words of those brave men whom bore this country. Read them, learn them and then; “if you dare”, argue your liberal point of view and open yourself up to be rhetorically dragged behind my smoke belching SUV, flailing in you flawed ideology. So, let’s just light this firecracker. Liberalism is a false premise and cannot be defended, that’s why no one even tried. Liberalism is the most spineless, yellow-bellied ideology one can ascribe to. It requires no critical thinking or workable solutions. One needs only to appear compassionate.
And there is the crux of the malady known as liberalism. It’s all about feelings. These tweed jackets, pseudo-intellectuals glom on to every Oprah moment to come down the pike and then smugly look down their bifocals at the rest of the great unwashed as characters from Deliverance. Yet; not one damn thing these dust bunnies have ever put forth works. Take the war on poverty; for instance. Since 1964 we have transferred $12TRILLION dollars from the haves, to the have not’s. Yet poverty levels haven’t decreased. We’ve only succeeded in insuring every Joe-No-Lunchbox has a flat screen television in his hovel. Liberals demanded sex education in our public schools. So… what happened? Well; we now have a society where the only virgins are ugly sixth graders and teachers not only teach sex but also turn down the lights and put on Sinatra for their students. The good news is that even though little Suzy is squeezing out her twelfth rug rat those food stamps will keep on coming. Thanks to liberals. Still; we mustn’t examine the outcomes of liberal policies; oh no, we must only focus on their good intentions. Well; spank my ass and call me Judy. I’m done with letting you liberals set the premise and change the measure of success.
You liberal piles of steaming excrement deserve both barrels and I’ve got an itchy trigger finger. In other words; it’s time to barbeque some ass and I’ve got the spit.

1.The energy crisis is your fault. Environmentalists, tree hugging, “arbor perverts” and your PETA pal pundits have blocked, at every turn, our effort to drill in ANWAR, off of our coasts and anywhere we might conceivably increase supply. You have blocked the construction of fuel refineries. Your useful idiots in the, “Sierra Club” have shut down or halted more coal mines and coal power plants than can be counted using basic math. You and your ilk have sued in federal court to halt the construction of nuclear power plants and when you are successful, in doing so, you run to your homes to watch Jane Fonda’s overacting performance in, “The China Syndrome”. And you weep. Well, let me be succinct and blaring. Get over it. We have more oil in this country and off of our coasts than is present in the entire Middle East. We are the Saudi Arabia of coal. We have the greatest nuclear technology in the world. We have more natural gas in this country than all of the hot air you’ve been bellowing for forty years.

2.You are the racists, sexists, bigots and homophobes. It is you leftists who categorize people into groups and then attempt to make them victims. Conservatives don’t give a rat’s rear end about a person’s skin color, their sex or what they do in the privacy of their bedrooms. You left leaning, Leninist liars have taken three of our conservative dictums and completely perverted them. That being the diabolical divergence of affirmative action, our rigidity against gay marriage and our opposition to abortion. My over active grey matter can easily portray these vapid portrayals for the inept pronouncements they are. For those of you being literarily dazzled I have a question, a most prescient one; how much time have you spent lately thinking about my sex life? That’s how much I spent thinking about yours. If you want to be gay, be gay. Marriage however, is a time honored tradition and shouldn’t be adulterated. Affirmative action; we are all created equal. No one should be granted special rights, “or denied them” because of any distinguishing identifier. Abortion; Find a general right to privacy in our constitution and we can talk. The Supreme Court cannot, out of whole cloth, enumerate constitutional text. We’ll throw in that pesky moral dilemma for good measure.

3.It is you that has cheapened what our founders born. Were it so, that the founders of this country existed today, I’m just saying; There would be a lot of liberals, limply lying at the end of a short rope strung from a tall tree. The constitution you so readily hide behind when spouting your socialist rhetoric is the same constitution you treat as, “Charmin” three ply when you stumble across text you find disagreeable. You cite the separation of church and state, where one does not exist. You support limitations on our second amendment. The bastardization of our tenth amendment has your fingerprints all over it. You demand more and more from federal government instead of abiding personal responsibly and rugged individualism. Reflect, if you dare and ponder this; were our founders conservative or liberal? Genuine reflection should make you reach for pharmaceuticals in vast quantities. Prozac anyone?

4.For what you have done to our children there will be a special place in hell. Loony liberals have been running our educational system for 40 years. Juxtapose that statistic with our falling international scholastic test scores America and her children have long endured. The liberal educational system is but one of the few endeavors wherein we accept greater and greater financing without positive result. In Washington D.C. the taxpayers fund each student to the sum of $25,000.00 per student, per year. Yet, 50% still do not graduate. We are told, more money is needed, while, in truth, what is needed is to run these liberal, tweed jacket nerds into the ocean, at high tide. I have a deep faith Mr. Jefferson would approve.

5.You despise the poor. You must, look what you have done to them. The war on poverty began in 1964 by the real idiot from Texas. Trumpeted by leftists it has decimated inner cities and many small towns. You have taken from those you’ve sought to help all self sufficiency, independence, self reliance and dignity god gave them. You have made poverty just comfortable enough to abide in. Benjamin Franklin said that poverty should be uncomfortable and people should be run from it. You have made poverty cozy, ensuring it will be endured.

6.If it’s broken, you broke it. The listing of your liberal transgressions is endless. That statement is all encompassing and meant to be so. By nature, conservatives have a deep reverence for our constitution, for the sacrifice of our founders, for American exceptionalism, manifest destiny and hold unshakable beliefs that God so endowed this country. So, by default, if it’s broken, liberals broke it. Happy Trails.

Declaration of Independence

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for “We the People”, citizens of this great nation the United States, to petition our elected officials, for redress of grievances, which include the persistent infringement by those officials upon our individual, God given, natural, unalienable rights, including “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” - codified by the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights - and where many among our civil servants, whom have taken the oath of office, “freely and without mental reservation” to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic” and to fairly represent the business of the people, but have instead violated that pledge, it is incumbent upon that aggrieved citizenry to declare their grievances and to withhold their consent to be thus unfairly represented and capriciously governed until such grievances have been heard and properly redressed.

1. Grievance; America was constitutionally constituted as a representative republic, not the Oligarchy we are spoon fed by the elitist, pompous idiots that have matriculated their way into power. We see the term in print and hear it on the air. But what exactly does the term “Citizen Politician” mean? To me it defines a person who is a citizen first and then a politician. It is someone with a family, a job and ties to a community who decides he would like to serve for a time in the political arena for the betterment of that community. To do so he takes a temporary leave from his position, knowing he will serve for a limited time and then return to his regular duties when his term is over. Yet; now we abide career politicians. Slackers who, “more often than not” have never held a job outside of government and much like young Oliver Twist stand before the American people asking for more. When in fact these barnacles upon liberty have more perks than Folgers. Today, Members of the United States Congress enjoy a vast web of perquisites that benefit them personally as well as professionally, including:
•Comfortable salaries that, “are often” determined through legislative sleight-of-hand. Contrary to the arguments of many Washington "insiders," the cost of living has rarely eroded the historical value of lawmakers' pay, which on a constant-dollar basis is hovering near the postwar high.
•Pension benefits that are two to three times more generous than those offered in the private sector for similarly-salaried executives. Taxpayers directly cover at least 80 percent of this costly plan. Congressional pensions are also inflation-protected, a feature that fewer than 1 in 10 private plans offer.
•Health and life insurance, approximately 3/4 and 1/3 of whose costs, respectively, are subsidized by taxpayers.
•Wheeled perks, including limousines for senior Members, prized parking spaces on Capitol Hill, and choice spots at Washington's two major airports.
•Travel to far-flung destinations as well as to home states and districts. Despite recent attempts to toughen gift and travel rules, "junkets" are still readily available prerogatives for many Members.
•A wide range of smaller perks that have defied reform efforts, from cut-rate health clubs to fine furnishings.
But the very nature of public office itself demands a more comprehensive definition of a "perk" than that normally applied to corporate America. Members of Congress can also wield official powers that allow them to continue to enjoy the personal benefits outlined above, such as:
•The franking privilege, which gives lawmakers millions in tax dollars to create a favorable public image. Experts across the political spectrum have labeled the frank as an unfair electioneering tool. In past election cycles, Congressional incumbents have spent as much on franking alone as challengers have spent on their entire campaigns.
•An office staff that performs "constituent services" and doles out pork-barrel spending, providing more opportunities for "favors" that can be returned only at election time.
•Exemptions and immunities from tax, pension, and other laws that burden private citizens -- all crafted by lawmakers themselves. "[T]he arrogance of officialdom should be tempered
and controlled."
Cicero, 63 B.C.
2.Grievance; our founders envisioned a republic wherein individual freedoms were paramount and federal influence in the lives of the citizenry was very limited. And; by limited they meant practically non-existent. Yet; we are encumbered by an oppressive bureaucracy that nannies we the people, for our own good. Ronald Reagan said; “I don’t believe in a government that protects us from ourselves”. Still; from the right and left we are so oft tied to a plethora of governmental regulations much like Gulliver’s entanglements… compliments of the Lilliputians. We are told where we can smoke, what foods we can eat, how much carbon we can dispense, how much of our earned income we can recompense for our families, the storage capacity of our toilets, OSHA, the EPA, the NIE, the NIH, limits on agricultural production and a myriad of federal regulations that, “by design” adulterate our constitution and the freedoms guaranteed within its text.
Grievance; "To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy. Our judges are as honest as other men and not more so. They have with others the same passions for party, for power, and the privilege of their corps. Their maxim is boni judicis est ampliare jurisdictionem [good justice is broad jurisdiction], and their power the more dangerous as they are in office for life and not responsible, as the other functionaries are, to the elective control. The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with the corruptions of time and party, its members would become despots. It has more wisely made all the departments co-equal and co-sovereign within themselves." --Thomas Jefferson to William C. Jarvis, 1820. ME 15:277. In a representative republic we have allowed five Elmer Fudds in black robes to subjugate the will of the people. Think about it; five, unelected, unrepresentative, appointed legal beagles have within their purview the fate of 330 million people. And… encapsulated within the realm of a semi-democracy, or so they say.
3.Grievance; this conundrum is A-political. The American electorate has too often been bifurcated by the two propionate political parties. They have stirred the pot of political discourse and advanced the uncivil war between demographic right and left. Whilst they anchor the hatred between liberal V. conservative, with slight of hand populace America fails to see what is up their corrupt sleeve. And; were their actions truly rated, by a discerning eye, America as a whole would vomit at the corruption on both sides. This is not a government of the people. Congress looks out across the fruited plain and see’s sheep to be sheared.
4.Grievance; In Washington what we have here is a failure to communicate. Elected aristocracy see not themselves as servants of the people; instead they have assumed royalty and expect their crown. Whilst America pays the piper for these moguls of hedonism.
5.Our constitution requires congress to abide a petition of grievance. So…here it is. Take heed you fat and sassy Oligarchs. Be on notice. For we are coming. From the right and left we begin this march. And…the constitution is our bulwark, our just cause. Today we declare our independence.
