Meet the new War; Same as the old War

With the Iraqi war winding down and the finish line in sight, “much to the dismay of democrats who openly rooted for our defeat” perhaps now we can turn our attention to actually ending the war on terror by winning the damn thing the way wars are actually won, by complete and total attrition, annihilation and an ambiguity for the sanctity of life. For the squeamish, effeminate or easily offended I suggest you turn off your computer now, get a glass of warm milk and curl up with your cat, you sissy.
While most of the world, “especially Europe” engaged in speechifying, hand wringing and “Neville Chamberlainism” Iran has pressed full speed ahead in their quest for a nuclear weapon, finding a wry sense of amusement in the sanctions we heap upon them.
As we enter the twilight of the Bush administration, heading into the warm and fuzzy, “let’s play kissy face with dictators” Obamalama presidency, urgent, takes on a much more sense of urgency. President Bush needs to light this firecracker and get this party started.
And, we do we need to understand one thing, the only thing these child raping, women stoning, camel herding jokers understand is unabashed, unvarnished brutality, with extreme prejudice.
Of course, we could continue negotiating, sanctioning and saying pretty please but in the end most of Israel would disappear in a mushroom cloud, Israel’s retaliation would most certainly destroy Iran and Syria then we could sit back and literally watch the Middle East disambiguate the expected caliphate.
Or, we could drop our purses along with our political correctness and man up, we need to do a “Patton” on their Islamic asses and make it our national goal to kill as many civilians as we do terrorists. Yes, I said it, and I damn well meant it.
Let’s take a walk down history lane and actually analyze our tactics in the last war we actually fought to win, World War Two. Our Napalm bombing of Japanese cities killed more civilians that Hiroshima and Nagasaki put together. Night bombing over Germany decimated most of their major cities. But, we had a strategy, and that was to destroy their will to wage war. Guess what sports fans? It worked and can work again. We need to carpet bomb Iran until we’re out of bombs and then start dropping illegal aliens with firecrackers. Soon enough they’ll say uncle…..or Allah.

Have Gun, Will Travel

I’ve hesitated to pop the cork on the champagne after learning of the affirmation in the United States Supreme Court case Heller v Washington. In the majority opinion, Justice Antonin Scalia said the amendment protected an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia and to use that arm for self-defense within the home. While good news, what is problematic to me, was the narrow decision. We have four Supreme Court justices who quite simply rejected the United States constitution. This confirms a suspicion I’ve held for some time and it’s deserving of relation. Most Americans and too many judges simply do not understand the inception of our constitution, its purpose and its inspiration. Luckily for you, my devoted readers, I do and am willing to proffer a peek into my intellect and insightfulness.

Ask any citizen where our rights as Americans emanate from and the usual response will be from our constitution. This education is so wrong as to be criminal and the educational system doling out this pabulum need face indictment with prejudice. The sacred words of Thomas Jefferson in our Declaration of Independence; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” To repeat, we are endowed by our creator. Our rights come from God, not government. The bill of rights, including our second amendment, was written to protect those God given rights from government intrusion. The bill of rights is singular, not collective, meaning they apply to the individual, not communally. To understand our constitution one must understand the authors and their reasoning. Our founders were suspicious and fearful of government and felt that absolute power must abide within the electorate not the elected. One must remember the colonies were escaping the oppressiveness of King George.

But, it isn’t that simple. The document conceived by the patriots who pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor had to have been divinely inspired; there is no other reasonable explanation. And, today, four Justices of the United States Supreme court not only cheapened this document that we conservative hold as sacrosanct, they desecrated the memory of those brave men that bore this country.

Justice Kennedy or Elmer Fudd

Anthony Kennedy once again proved to the legal community that Alzheimer’s has stricken at least five of the Justices currently serving on the United States Supreme Court. Apparently they have forgotten the constitution they swore to protect and defend. In a five to four ruling the court found it unconstitutional to put to death those who would harm the most innocent among us, our children. Justice Kennedy, writing for the majority said, “The Constitution barred a state from imposing the death penalty for the rape of a child when the crime did not result, and was not intended to result, in the victim's death”. As a student of our constitution, I would impolitely ask Justice “Elmer Fudd” just where in our constitution is the text barring a state from imposing the death penalty for any crime? And don’t give me that eighth amendment argument because trust me; my mind contains more intellect than yours, that’s a given. The Cruel and Unusual Punishment Clause is the only part of the Amendment that has been made applicable to the states via the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. But, what the legal eagles miss is pivotal and prescient. It is one simple word. That word is, “AND”. {Emphasis Mine} Up to and including the 1930’s the French still imposed death by guillotine for the most heinous crimes. It was common practice. Is it cruel, certainly, is it unusual, not at all; Texas does it everyday, twice on Sundays. In this country we legally snuff out murderers of all sorts and sizes making this world a better place to live in, providing income for funeral directors and it gives me a warm, toasty feeling. Is it cruel to kill them, of course, it is not unusual. The eight amendment prohibits cruel and unusual punishment, it does not state cruel or unusual punishment.

Justice Kennedy went on to say, “A national consensus exists against capital punishment for the crime of child rape and that the death penalty, based on current evolving standards, should be reserved for the worst crimes that take the victim's life.” Excuse my language as I believe foul language only expresses a negligence of vocabulary but just what consensus is this son of a bitch talking about? I’ve never heard of such a consensus and were it true, we are now to decide constitutionality on consensus? This case makes the stark truth known and indisputable, our Supreme Court as configured is not judging, they are legislating. Our founders intended for the courts to have the least influence over the lives of the electorate yet today our courts have become the arbiter of social policy usurping the authority of we the people. What Justice Kennedy did today was to place the interests of the most evil among us over our beloved children and our most innocent.

I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore

That’s it, tomorrow I’m stopping off at my local tractor supply store and buying a pitchfork, and then I’m off in search of a torch, a big one. {Size Matters} I learned today that the United States Supreme Court will now decide if the U.S. Navy will be allowed to use sonar during their training exercises because, “leftists’ wacko freaks” contend emanating sonar gives the whales a headache. I want the Supreme Court to decide if liberals have the right to inhabit my country, they give me a headache requiring vast quantities of pharmaceuticals and Kentucky bourbon, I’m just saying. The burning question, for me, is just how damn long we are going to put up with this minority of loud little Lilliputian liberals lamenting the constant erosion of our personal freedoms and steering this country down the road to Socialism at break neck speed. For Christ’s sake, in 2012 we will lose the freedom to purchase incandescent light bulbs. Today we can purchase tobacco products but have to lock ourselves in a closet with an air freshener, a fire extinguisher and a hazmat suit just to smoke the overtaxed product we purchased. I have to purchase a sticker from my state, just to put my boat in the water. And, dare I place a fishing pole in that boat I have to buy a fishing license to commune with our God given nature. I have to buy car insurance though I can afford to replace any car I may damage. I can’t burn my own leaves, out of my own trees, in my own frigging yard because there is a majority of idiots out there hand wringing over the scam that is global warming. I have to get a building permit to build on my property and then pay a greater share of tax because of the improvements I paid for. I have to hand over 35% of my earnings to a corrupt government, under the threat of jail, to support fellow Americans I have never met and are too damn lazy to earn their own living. I have to contribute to a Social Security program I will never participate in. I have to wear a seat belt even if I want to fly through my damn windshield. As a law abiding citizen I have to register my handguns while criminals do not.

As Americans we are forced to endure a myriad of rules, regulations, laws and edicts from a mere 535 overpaid, oversexed, egotistical, elected echinococcus to the electorate they presume to represent. Well, look, these rapists of the sacrosanct document that is our constitution can kiss my white American ass, both cheeks.

Look folks, it’s time we stood up to these stuffed shirt slime balls and take our country back. The America we live in is not the country envisioned by our founders and I’m mad as hell about it and I’m not going to take it anymore! How about you?

C'mon Justice Scalia, You Were My Hero

Just what in the wide, wide world of sports is going on here? My personal hero, Justice Scalia went off the deep end in the Opinion: Meacham v. KAPL, Inc. today and caused me to re-think my entire world view. Perhaps those justices in the majority forgot the 1895, “Coffin v. United States, 156 U.S. 432; 15 S. Ct. 394” Supreme Court decision wherein the presumption of innocence was first adjudged and established. In Meacham, the majority found that any suit brought forth by a person over forty, alleging age discrimination, is to be considered valid, putting the burden of proof on the defendant. If you skipped that class in ambulance chasing I’ll explain. Any seasoned citizen, fired by his employer has the ability to file a lawsuit against said employer for age discrimination without any evidence and no requirement to prove their case. Under today’s ruling it would fall upon the employer, who fired the aged, to prove it wasn’t age discrimination. What the hell? One might argue, and I am, the defendant, in many cases will be required to prove a negative, not easily done. But more important, it reverses more than one hundred years of case law. Look folks, I’m not trying to make the case for age discrimination but I also don’t accept the premise that the government can tell me who I can hire and in return, whom I can fire. That’s not freedom. Yet, if we were to accept these unconstitutional laws then it would seem to me we should also accept the long held view that everyone is innocent, until proven guilty. That would apply to civil law as well as criminal infractions.
In, “Coffin” the court wrote, “The principle that there is a presumption of innocence in favor of the accused is the undoubted law, axiomatic and elementary, and its enforcement lies at the foundation of the administration of our law”.
Suppose, for the sake of argument, we were to apply this same standard to sexual harassment, race discrimination or fair housing laws? By the Supreme Court placing the burden upon the defense they have set a precedent, one that without doubt will be taken advantage of by anyone under the allusion of being wronged and the first trial lawyer he runs in to.

Cowboys, Lions and John McCain

Politics, pestilence, punditry and pontifications, lately, we’ve covered it all, with our expected aplomb, brilliance and wry sense of humor. We’ve tackled the tough issues in depth and with a coveted insight unseen before in the annals of classic historical literature save Dickens or Twain. But, it’s time to lighten things up, just a bit, for you edification and enjoyment. Why you’re asking, with baited breath, awaiting a prescient profundity. Because my pigskin, gridiron brethren; it’s June, and we all know what that entails and implies. In just two short, sultry, sweaty months we top off our favorite adult beverage, order a pizza, lie back in our favorite Lazy Boy, prop our feet up and get ready for some football. That’s right football aficionados, just two months until our unbearable, long awaited wait is over. In August it’s back, pre-season football. Cheerleaders, monster hits, corner blitzes, quarterback sacks and dare I mention it again, I dare, I dare… cheerleaders. I get all goosepimply just thinking about it.
I absolutely know what you’re thinking, at this moment as you read our written words. Your first thought is, “my God this man is a literary genius and at the same time you’re asking yourself, “rightly so” what the hell Conservative Springfield, a sports story, Football?
I consider our readers and my staff to have a familial relationship and my viewers doubting of my unparalleled, unequaled, unvarnished, unambiguous aptitude and ability to combine the finest of sports, “football” into an award winning composition of polemic comparative conservatism not only beguiles the genius of this author but belittles the intellect of the recipient of this masterful literary content.
An unavoidable truism, as our observations turn to gaze upon the leaves, absent their sustaining Chlorophyll, accepting of the introduction of fall, conservative’s fallback position to a lackluster candidate and ensuing bloodletting politically might possibly be the distraction of the greatest sport devised by man, football. After all, watching the Senator from Arizona thrown to the lions couldn’t possibly be as much fun as the cowboys thumping the lions.

  1. Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809–April 15, 1865), the sixteenth President of the United States. For those of you who matriculated through our politically correct public school system you are probably under the false impression that the American civil war, beginning in 1861, began as attempt to end the repulsive practice of slavery. This is an absolute fallacy. The War Between the States began when eleven southern states exercised their rights under the constitution for self determination and dominion over their geographical boundaries. A war with the north became inevitable when Lincoln blockaded southern shipping ports and reinforced federal troops at Fort Sumter.

At the start of the civil war, slavery was losing popular support, even in the south. No one could possibly believe the shame that was slavery to have continued, to any great extent, much longer in this country yet, Lincoln ignored the tenth amendment at a cost of over 600,000 American lives and changed the relationship between the federal and state institutions forever.

  1. Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856—February 3, 1924), the twenty-eighth President of the United States. Where Lincoln left off absolving the rights of states, Wilson took over. Thanks to President Wilson we have the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Farm Loan Act and The Federal Reserve. He was also responsible for the first federal income tax and most importantly, the League of Nations, the forerunner of the current United Nations. He enabled the burgeoning power of unions and openly supported a socialist, populist agenda.

  1. Franklin Delano Roosevelt (January 30, 1882 – April 12, 1945), the thirty-second President of the United States. Franklin did more to destroy the fabric and future of this country than, “arguably” any other president in history. Roosevelt’s, “new deal” caused a market correction to spread into a catastrophic depression lasting ten years. It was only the onset of war that restored the economy Roosevelt had practically destroyed. Roosevelt’s new deal gave America Social Security, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, welfare, the minimum wage and many other social programs that exist to this day. Most of Roosevelt’s initiatives were found unconstitutional by the United States Supreme Court. His solution to the court was to try and, “pack” it in 1937 by adding six new justices loyal to him. Not even the democratic congress would abide this yet Roosevelt won out in the end when justices fearing retribution began to retire and Roosevelt ended up getting most of his new deal approved intact. Roosevelt’s dealings with Stalin at the Yalta convention of 1945 sentenced most of Eastern Europe to an existence under brutal soviet rule.

  1. Lyndon Baines Johnson (August 27, 1908 – January 22, 1973), often referred to as LBJ, was the thirty-sixth President of the United States. Johnson was responsible for designing the "Great Society" legislation that included civil rights laws, Medicare (health care for the elderly), Medicaid (health care for the poor), aid to education, and the "War on Poverty." All programs, when combined with the legacy of Roosevelt, will eventually bankrupt this country. As a wartime president LBJ was a miserable failure. He was constantly second guessing himself and reversing his previous decisions. Defense secretary McNamara once described him as a deer in the headlights.

  1. James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. (born October 1, 1924) was the thirty-ninth President of the United States, serving from 1977 to 1981, also known as the malaise years. During Carters presidency the American mood required a misery index to sufficiently judge the despondency of the electorate. Carter is best remembered for gasoline lines and ceding the Middle East to student terrorists. One might argue, had Carter not encouraged the Shah of Iran to allow more freedoms to the student protestors in the 70’s the problems of the Middle East today would be greatly diminished and the Iranian threat would be minimal. The presidential campaigns of Senator Barack Obama and 72 year old John McCain toured flooded cities of Iowa today seeking to comfort thousand of displaced Iowans. Both candidates visited the ravaged city of Cedar Rapids. Senator Obama parted the waters with a sweep of his hand, allowing thousands of trapped residents to be rescued safely. Balding, 72 year old John McCain stopped at a local pet store to torture some puppies and later toured the local hospital where he loosened the wheels on the wheel chairs and made fun of the bald kids. By midday it appeared his holiness, Senator Obama, had driven the flood waters back into their banks and completely dried out the city and cleaned every citizen’s house. Barely alive McCain was seen to be smoking cigarettes with preschoolers and shaking them down for their lunch money. Shortly after McCain’s playground fiasco he was spotted sleeping on a park bench with drool running down his chin. An empty bottle of scotch lay on the ground next to him.

As the afternoon wore on Barack, “the Christ” restored the sight of all the children in the blind school. He then cured a leper, a cancer victim and restored the virginity to a shamed Muslim woman. He went on to rescue a kitten from a tree. Ole man McCain visited an orphanage and ordered the staff to replace their ordinary evening meal of hot dogs with macaroni and cheese to watery gruel. A McCain spokesman told reporters that he didn’t want the children spoiled.

At an evening high school rally the messianic pope Barack the divine gave a speech to high school students on the dangers of pre-marital sex. At the same rally, 72 year old John McCain showed up to the event in a raincoat and was seen flashing young high school girls and offering them money for sex. The over the hill senator was spotted later, after dark, roaming the streets of Cedar Rapids in his underwear, shouting racist’s slurs against blacks, Mexicans, polish people and Albanians.

Meanwhile, the exalted, sainted Obama lay down to rest, covered only in the shroud of Turin, 100 white doves and attended to by three wise men, a single star shone brightly over his resting place. Late reports suggest the elderly McCain spent the night with a twenty dollar hooker and only paid her ten dollars, suggesting a possible violation of the McCain-Feingold act or a senior citizen discount.

Thanks, Justices. Now we are bent over with our pants around our ankles

What in the world is the majority of the Supreme Court thinking? Justice Scalia, writing in dissent, was blunt:

America is at war with radical Islamists. The enemy began by killing Americans and American allies abroad: 241 at the Marine barracks in Lebanon, 19 at the Khobar Towers in Dhahran, 224 at our embassies in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi, and 17 on the USS Cole in Yemen. See National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, The 9/11 Commission Report, pp. 60–61, 70, 190 (2004). On September 11, 2001, the enemy brought the battle to American soil, killing 2,749 at the Twin Towers in New York City, 184 at the Pentagon in Washington, D. C., and 40 in Pennsylvania. See id., at 552, n. 9. It has threatened further attacks against our homeland; one need only walk about buttressed and barricaded Washington, or board a plane anywhere in the country, to know that the threat is a serious one. Our Armed Forces are now in the field against the enemy, in Afghanistan and Iraq. Last week, 13 of our countrymen in arms were killed.”

The majority of democrats and republicans, in 2001, gave the president the authority to do whatever he deemed necessary to defend America against any further terrorist acts. Since 2001 the President has a 100% rating in protecting the homeland. The actions of the United States Supreme court, on this day, guarantees that rating will be much lower in the weeks and months to come.

Ostensibly our beloved court with Elmer Fudd, “Justice Kennedy” as the swing vote, usurped the legislative and executive powers, creating their own judicial junta. This case was brought before the Supreme Court in 1942. The case law, for Raz and legal neophytes is EX PARTE QUIRIN, 317 U.S. 1.

The court held; (1) That the charges preferred against petitioners on which they are being tried by military commission appointed by the order of the President of July 2, 1942, allege an offense or offenses which the President is authorized to order tried before a military commission. (2) That the military commission was lawfully constituted. (3) That petitioners are held in lawful custody, for trial before the military commission, and have not shown cause for being discharged by writ of habeas corpus. The motions for leave to file petitions for writs of habeas corpus are denied. The orders of the District Court are affirmed. The mandates are directed to issue forthwith.

These were German saboteurs, caught within the borders of the United States, imprisoned in the United States and all but one swung from the yardarm; you guessed it, in the United States.

Let’s not kid ourselves, the ruling handed down from on high today simply told the rest of the world that we are bent over with our pants down around our ankles. Combat soldiers, capturing the enemy, on the field of battle will now be, “witnesses” instead of life takers. Isn’t that special

That's Right, I said it; Democrats are Just EVIL

You know, this $4.00 a gallon gas spike is not really a big deal to me. I have a good job as does my husband, which means we make large dough, big bucks. Wink-wink. And, since we hide most of our income from the IRS we pay very little in taxes……..Wait a minute, If you work for the IRS and are reading this I never cheat on my taxes, ever. I love love love love the IRS. Did I mention I love the IRS?

Where was I? Oh yes, gasoline. High fuel prices are affecting the costs of all goods and services across the fruited plain or plane if you’re reading this at thirty thousand feet. I was struck by something and only bring it up because no on else has; How are the elderly, on fixed incomes, dealing with higher prices of just about every damn thing we consume as Americans?

Democrats will tell anyone who will listen that they are the party of the little guy and especially the poor and aged, “remember Al Gores Social Security lockbox?” Yet what are the Demon-crats doing for these people? Look folks, there is real need out there. Seniors trying to get by on Social Security have seen food and energy costs double. Who speaks for them, the liberal loving, left leaning AARP? Nope, not one peep. Because if the AARP were to be honest they would have to point out that the democrats have screwed seniors on energy along with the rest of the electorate.

Instead of letting the oil companies drill for our own supply, “which is enormous” the democrats haul big oil to congress and berate them for an 8% return on their vast investment, eight friggin percent. The average return on investment for the S&P 500 is 11.5%. The oil companies are under-performing.

Congress complains bitterly about corporate welfare or the government handouts given to mega-oil. Let’s just call that what it is, a damned lie. The oil companies receive incentives to find new oil deposits within a very limited geographical area. If they are successful in increasing supplies or invest in, “green” technologies they receive a tax break. However, that doesn’t mean they get a handout from government coffers, no, they just pay less tax on that return of capitol. What you haven’t heard is this; U.S. oil companies pay more in taxes than they make in profits. Because of the high taxes paid by oil companies they make zero profit from domestic oil sales. For you high school dropouts, the mentally infirm or liberal democrats I’ll explain. Domestic oil companies lose money selling and refining oil in the Unites States because of the enormous taxes they are forced to pay. Exxon pays taxes at a rate of 41% on its taxable income! In 2007 Exxon-Mobil paid over $40,000,000,000.00 in taxes. That’s 40 billion in case you didn’t count all of the zeros.

Conservative estimates conclude we have over 300 years of, “current usage” oil supply within the continental United States and off of our shores. Energy analysts in lockstep consensus agree that, with our supply and technology, oils fair market value should be around $80.00 a barrel extrapolating to $2.00 a gallon for gasoline. Yet, the democrats block every effort to drill. Why?

I’ll tell you why, because the democrats never will and the republicans are too lily livered and sheepish to do it. I suffer no such impediments. They are quite simply evil. People are suffering because of their actions and they don’t give a damn. They scare the public with stories of senior citizens having to choose between their medications or food and then create the circumstances wherein that might be a fact of life for many. It’s time we called the democrats just what they are, evil. And, just for the record, I love the IRS.
