Well, after a full week of the vitriolic onslaught by the drive by media against Governor Sarah Palin, she is not only left standing, she has absorbed the slings, lies, slights and the most comprehensive, concerted attacks and she has done so with the class and dignity befitting a woman of her poise and character. And, guess what my conservative brethren and you fanatical left winged nuts on the left? She is still standing and might I say, without a scratch on her.
The media is bewildered, they mounted a full fledged attack on this good Christian woman and quite simply are pounding their collective kook heads upon their over priced, self aggrandizing desks. They simply don’t get it. The media didn’t create Sarah, that’s why they cannot tear her down.
I have never seen the media so fanatical in their wanting to ruin this woman life and the lives of her family. They didn’t go this far in trying to destroy Clarence Thomas or Robert Bork. This was all hands on deck and a full frontal assault. Yet, they failed in the eyes of the American people and left no doubt they will do whatever they have to do to get the messianic one elected.
The mask of fairness in the main stream media has been removed. Even the late night television shows are picking up the template.
But again, they will fail because Sarah is more man than Obama and more woman than Hillary Clinton, that’s right I said it!
Why is the media and the democrats so afraid of this evangelical, mother of five children, enjoys a 80% approval rate in her home state of Alaska, “which by the way is the highest in the country” avid hunter and supporter of the second amendment, a reformer, who took down some of the highest ranking republicans in her state, Pushed through the legislator a $50 billion gas pipeline that had been proposed 30 years ago and had been sitting in dust bin since first introduced, because no one could make it happen, Sarah did.
But the real fear of Sarah Palin is Sarah Palin. The media sees her as they did Reagan. They hated Reagan and set about to destroy him. Knowing this, Reagan by-passed the media and took his case directly to the American people, and they loved him. A 49 state landslide was the proof of the pudding.
Sarah will do the same thing. Americans are bonding with her and so far, they like her. Once they get the full picture of Sarah, her values and learn about her incredible life they will fall in love with her and turn on the media. And, this is important; she has succeeded on her own. Her name wasn’t Clinton.
Folks, this woman is the real deal; a rock rib conservative who knows in her heart that conservatism doesn’t have to be watered down in order to, “appear” mainstream.
The best part, “and I just eat this up with a spoon”. All this talk about Sarah’s speech tonight and if she is up to the pressure, a little side bar; Sarah played in the state high school championship game. She was playing on a cracked ankle and was in excruciating pain. The coach tried to take her out several times as he was watching her limp and grimace on that bad ankle. But Sarah was the star player and it was her talent that got her team to the state championship.
Her team was trailing by one point and in the last two seconds of the game Sarah shot a two pointer to win the championship. My point; This woman doesn’t rattle and has Rush Limbaugh said today, “I hope they have that convention roof bolted down securely because Sarah is going to blow the rafters off”. I agree.
